Yep, I'm thinkin this was kino.I found it a bit harder (on veteran) than people give it credit though.
And dead thread. Fuck you faggots, you don't play games. Go talk about GTA 6 you inbred niggers.
>>747649496I tried in two different occasions and I just didn't like it, didn't like the 3d art style, didn't like the few mechanics I've seen.I don't know, it's a shame because on paper I should like it
I like playing randomizers
>>747651469What 3D art style?
>>747653438you right that's ritual of the night, I wasn't even aware of the existence of this
Murderhobo Zangetsu playthrough best playthrough. Also I unironically prefer CoTM2, bloated as It IS.
>>747649496Easy compared to 2
>>747649496This game is super awesome, fantastic throwback to NES Castlevanias. I preferred the sequel but they're both good. Only critique I remember is that unless you're killing the companions, and even then, Zangetsu is so underwhelming compared to the others. His sub weapons aren't very strong or useful, his movement is bad, his attack is short and dinky.
What was the deal with this?I've never played Gunvolt
>>747654028I agree with this. 1 is a legitimately great game by its own right. 2 probably has a bit too much runtime for what it really has, but all that said, I can't pretend Luna Secare isn't one of the raddest things ever put to screen. I'm so glad I found that naturally.
>>747654028>>747654864It's rather weird that CotM 2 Dominique isn't evil when considering that being evil is the whole point of RotN Dominique's character.
>>747656993It's a different universe, so they can do really whatever. Honestly, I wonder if Inti even knew the plot to RotN considering how much is different. It feels a lot like they were shown design documents for characters/bosses with brief snippets and then told "make us a Classicvania with these designs". Which I think is a fun way to do it, but I can imagine it's a bit limiting from Inti's perspective. CotM2 seemed to let the much more off the leash, comparatively.
>>747654672It technically went no where but Gunvolt does mention fighting Zangetsu in GV3, but we never see it so
>>747658192The True Ending of CotM1 does have Zangetsu realize it was a cursed hallucination, so that seems to be a way to transition into RotN, albeit certainly in a clumsy way. However, CotM2 began development after RotN already released, did it not? Inti could have just played RotN or even watched someone's playthrough to know the story beats for that. The second game's direction seems like more of a willful decision on Inti's part.
