I have been. I am reminded how incredibly short the game is if you already know what to do. I spent weeks fucking around in the Kokiri Forest before finding the sword as a kid. I can very easily beat the whole game in a single day if I really want to now.

No i play it every year. remake counts as my one
>>
>>747665463
Nah, since this is a 1:1 Remake if I replay the original now I'll likely get bored with the remake. It has been a good 10 years at least since I played OOT so the remake will feel pretty fresh.

The amount of times I went "man I spent so much time in this part as a kid" only to walk through it in 30 seconds, and never need to return is astounding.
Not just this game specifically, though it did happen a lot. To the same example you pointed out, I spent hours running around Kokiri forest just dicking about well after I was done. I had a whole little obstacle course plotted out, that all ended with having to end up on that tall pillar roughly in the middle, throw a flash seed on the ground, and backflip off the pillar.

I still do stuff like that in video games today.
>>

i remember as a kid spending months trying to reach the snow temple on twilling princess, until I found the fish smell to move on, it just something you can replicate as an adult
>>

I'm actually playing it for the first time, just started last night. I'm having to have to get used to fixed camera angles again but seeing things like Mido blocking you from the Deku Tree by sliding on the floor gives me a nostalgia hit for old games in general.

I will never get the full remake experience since I know the game through and through, the story holds no secrets, I know all the items you get and how all the sidequests go.
There's nothing left for me, I'll never experience the remake like I did the original. I wish Nintendo just made a new Zelda game.
>>
I don't really want to play the exact same game twice in a row.

I'm playing Elden Ring for a while, then will take a break from that for OOT.
>>
>>
>>747665463
No. I also hope the remake has Master Quest since I've never played it, but I feel like it won't.
>>
Playing for the first time and got filtered for the first time after opening the door to see the "big brother" and had to look up, felt like a donkey because I just used a melody 1 minute ago to progress and didn't think about to do that again.
>>

Maybe there will be some sort of new content? They showed so much in the trailer I'm wondering if there's some sort of surprise they're hiding in the final game.
>>
>>747665463
Why the fuck would I replay the original right before a 1:1 remake drops? I've replayed it recently enough for that to not matter anyway.
>>
>>747666721
Based. Malon it's
>>
>>747666813
Of course there can be but it just won't be the same when playing through OoT for the first time.

Beating video games as a kid is a pretty secondary experience to the primary experience of just existing in the game's world and vibing.
>>
>>747665873
This is me but with pokemon diamond and pearl. I remember spending so much time in hearthome city just exploring the buildings and talking to NPCs. I recently replayed it and was out of that town in like 30 minutes.

only if you stop posting shitty fanart. Link and Saria look like deformed adults there.

Why would you do that to yourself? You'll just ruin your enjoyment of the remake, they're going to be the exact same thing
>>
>>747669050
Ruin what? If you have played it before you already know what happens and where all the Skulltulas are stupid
>>
>>747669208
playing something decades ago is very different than playing something a few months before, silly goose
>>
>>747669208
>you already know what happens and where all the Skulltulas are stupid
Jokes on you! I just used the exploit to gather the exact same gold skultula over and over.
>>
>>747669208
So why play it? Why play either of them?
For the graphics? lmao
