My friend turned into this lazy kind of pile of shit too, the only thing that worked for me was getting him to play pretty much luddite games, I played Crownhold with him and he had fun, it's singleplayer but he appreciated the race and so did I. I can't help him past that he thought last of us was a masterpiece.
