4chan's Bizarre MMOdventure is going to play Asheron's Call on the InfiniteLeaftide server for the next 2-3 weeks, feel free to join in. Asheron's Call is a weird old MMO with a dedicated playerbase split among a bunch of private servers. It was alive for almost 20 years before being discontinued.

Guilds in Asheron's Call don't have names and you have to be next to each other to invite, so you just have to find one of us and ask to join. Ask in this thread or the /vm/ thread and hopefully someone will be online.

InfiniteLeaftide is a private server found via the ThwargLauncher utility, as virtually all private servers for Asheron's Call require said launcher.
Every completed quest on InfiniteLeaftide grants small flecks of permanent +EXP% across your account, incentivizing exploration over raw grind (at least at first).

Shoushi is recommended for newfags, but it's not required. All starting cities can be easily reached via the server's Town Network, so go for whichever one sounds most interesting to (You).
