I don't in fact play new horizons, they made the villages have barely any personality and they made the game have too much freedom. villagers just exist for their aesthetics now. I liked the cozy town with all my friends, which I made it look nice within the restrictions of the game for fun in between my chores. I have no interest in a game where the soul focus is just island design and tera morphing. I don't know anyone who played new leaf and thought 'hey that wifi island you go to and meet randoms I wish I lived there'
