>level begins>move left one step>"Vandal!">Kali is very angry with you. >"You monster!" >"You have made a regrettable action!" >rumble of idol trap activating somewhere>monty's corpse flies across the screen>multiple explosions >a rock launched from a chain of events hits you from offscreen at mach 10 and knocks you into an enemy who knocks you down a long fall where the angered shopkeeper grabs and throws you into some spikes where you die instantly however I still enjoy the game, what do you guys think of spelunky and spelunky 2? I can't believe how old 2 actually is, it feels like it came out last year but it was almost 7 years ago. I just bought it at release and forgot about it for some reason, only just started playing it again now
sounds like a skill issue tbqhfamalam
also for me, it's terra tunnel
I want to play it, but last time I delved into my backlog to find it an arrow shot from a wall nearby and I got bumped off by a bat.
>>747682424That's what makes it fun.
>>747682424It feels like shit when you get hit by an arrow or step into a bear trap, but these things are always visible before they can hurt you. It's definitely a game where you need to go slowly and steadily, it feels better to play when you approach it with the proper mindset.
Spelunky 1 is perfect. Spelunky 2 is overcooked.
Love the game but The Dwellings are incredibly tedious and make me drop the game months at a time. One day I'll beat the Cosmic Ocean
>>747681956Spelunky 2 is even more unfair than the first game. Any step could mean instadeath because something triggered on the other side of the level
