It's completely normal for multiple people to sing a song that is liked, we have systems for when multiple anons sing something (people vote to see which one goes on which album, or sometimes of the singers feel like it and it fits the song the takes are mixed to a duet). Honestly if you can click record in audacity or whatever, sing then stop recording, use the remove background noise tool if you're not in a quiet place, line up the take or takes right to the instrumental, then you're probably good to go. I don't think that song requires complex editing and you can ask for feedback in the thread, people typically give it for audio files.
