I guess AI won
>>
>>747864695
Level-5 won and was bullied for no reason.
>>
>>747864695
its a novelty right now and next years % will be much lower
>>
>>747864695
AI is a tool. Businesses will push for their use. That being said "AI" is an ambiguous and nebulous term that encapsulates a number of different tools. Even when it comes to artistic generative stuff I could see if being used during the general art sourcing step during design where traditionally an artist would just be scouring the net for various images they feel relate or could be useful to what they are developing. So long as it is driven and curated by a human and further iterated on after generation it is serving a valid purpose.
>>
>>747864695
of course it did the only "artists" mad about ai are 15 year olds who dont have jobs, even if you like art and like making art there will be plenty of things you have to make that are boring and feel like a chore
>>
>>747864849
Its usage will definitely shrink in some sector or usage demographics but others will increase. Claude is already at a point where it is beneficial for businesses to be checking and validating code with it. That along makes a pretty solid use case for permanent implementation going forward especially given that it generally only gets better in function/ability with time.
>>
>>747864695
I've already come to terms that I'll never buy a video game from a big company ever again years ago, AI isn't even the problem here, it's a symptom of the degradation and lack of creativity in general that's been going on for a decade now
>>
>>747864695
It’s either AI or Sea monke and Pajeets. I prefer the former.
>>
>>747864695
This will change /v/ into a pro AI board due to japslop. Which is synonymous with chink/gookslop. The reality is most game developers are already too lazy and untalented to do anything useful with AI. All the indie devs complaining about it are similarly hacks and the actual uproar you see about it is also artificial because they're about as untalented as an LLM bot. Doesn't mean AI gen assets don't look like shit though.
>>
>>747864695
The other 15% are lying. Every game company is using AI.
>>
>>747864695
I think it's just programmer dudes admitting they use ai
>>
Japanese games are utter dogshit, no wonder they use AI
>>
>>747865217
They're the same thing
>>
I thought Japan was all about honour and hard work
>>
>>747866325
>nation enslaved by kikes
>>
>big corps push ai features into development software
>all video games are developed with ai due to that technicality
>>
>sorry, we can't use loli to gatekeep faggots
>how about we use AI to gatekeep the faggots instead?
I'll fucking take it
>>
>>747864695
/v/tards in shambles. Do they worship the Japanese more than they hate AI? Which will win out? My bet is that they will simply accept AI. Weebism is undefeated.
>>
>>747864695
1 billion jeets eat shit, so what?
>>
>>747866325
Japan is all about the appearance of honor, the appearance of hard work, the appearance of politeness and so on.
In reality japs are spiteful, lazy little shits.
>>
>>747866469
4chan was a better place when gore-posting was still rampant.
>>
/v/ will suddenly be a pro AI board once the tendies see this
>>
>>747864695
weeb shit is already indistinguishable from eachother, not surprising
more weeb threads on /v/ please
>>
>>747866576
unfortunately, the browns are used to gore from living in shitholes where it's an every day occurance
>>
Makes sense. I used to be big into art many years ago and a big thing in the community would be stealing photos and straight up drawing over them. AI seems like an evolution of this.
>>
This isn't really hot news.
Japs have done nothing but steal other people work in the last 3 decades.
They've aped American games and European culture in every single piece of media they released. Fucking shameless talentless people.
>>
>>747864695
If my choice is between pozzed western dogshit or Asian developers using AI in the dev process, I'll take the latter.
>>
Okay, and? Most japs are cheap retards who will happily pick the more "modern" and cheaper option without caring about quality. Sugary magical girl anime dedicating like 1/3rd of the episode at least to recycled animation, moving from regular to crappy digital animation, pushing low quality CGI into their cartoons, actually claiming that sliding a static PNG across the screen counts as "animation"... this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
>>
>>747864695
>In game development
If it gets replaced before launch for real art Idgaf.

AI is still the most jewish thing ever created
>Scrape the whole internet
>Sell it back to you
>>
Lmao and /v/tards were shitting on chinese and korean games for using AI as if people werent all already using it en masse. Elon literally had to paywall grok due to how many were abusing it.
>>
>>747867028
>If it gets replaced before launch for real art Idgaf.
That never happens
>>
damn bet 100% drink water and use a computer too
>>
>>747866325
Lol, lmao even. Their corporate mindset is literally just do whatever your managers tell you. You will get yelled at for innovating if it was in a manner that your superiors didn't dictate to you.
>>
>>747867165
So just like America then?
>>
No one will pay money for low effort AI sloppa. They will be weeded out and only handcrafted products will remain.
>>
>>747864849
Absolutely delusional

>>747866325
AI is a tool, there is nothing dishonourable with using it
>>
>>747867164
Not for very long with how much AI they're using
>>
>>747864695
That makes perfect sense though? Japan is ruled by boomer CEOs and they are the ones most accepting of AI.
>>
Cool, now show me the games
>>
>>747867359
All of them. Capcom and square enix all use ai
>>
>>747864695
I hate video games now.
I hate porn now.

I fucking hate AI. And it will never go away.
>>
>>747867271
Not delusional at all. AI content is overdone and people are avoiding it more than ever to the point no one proudly admits they use AI and try to pass it as true human-made content. If AI is so good why the need to pass it off as human made?

Once gen alpha starts entering the work force and start spending money, if they don't give a shit buying AI products, then that might change.
>>
What a retarded bait thread with people assuming more than what the article actually says because they are outrage addicted
>>
Nintendo is the 15%
>>
just happens to be that all japanese games in the last 2 years have been gay and garbage

lol
>>
>>747865217
false equivalency.
kys, jew.
>>
>>747867557
unironically
https://www.cesa.or.jp/about/member-list/index-en.html
they aren't part of the list
>>
>>747867510
It's boring to not have clouds to yell at.
>>
Anti-ai fags need to read Industrial Society and it's Future no cap
Ted already explained why you can't preveny runaway technology
>>
>>747864695
It seems to be a cultural thing. Not the use of AI, but the Japanese's tendency to actually report their usage of it. Western studios will fill their games with AI generated assets without so much as a passing mention, but a Japanese studio will upscale a texture and go "welp, better disclose this." Every other Japanese game I've seen with an AI disclosure has been something inconsequential like that. Likewise, when they do go heavy on the AI, you KNOW they are, e.g. Level 5.
>>
>While the preview did not disclose the most common uses of generative AI, the most commonly cited benefits developers expected were “improved operational efficiency and productivity”, followed by “shorter development cycles” and “reduced development and operational costs.”
lmao the fuck is this shit. A bunch of words to say absolutely fucking nothing.
>>
>>747867795
Welcome to /v/ where no one reads the article but goes along with OPs faggotry anyway because "it's fun"
>>
>>747864695
Why is it always winning and losing with you sad cunts?
>>
>>747867795
Nips probably thought asking Claude questions and help with snippets was AI gen lmfao
>>
>>747864695
it won't go away.
there are different levels to it though. you can be pretty sure that all of them will use generative AI to quickly shit out a bunch of concept arts they can use as basis for their own work, which is still pretty different from having AI output in the final result
>>
Talking about use of AI as one big number is pointless, there’s a really big difference between using it to speed up mundane coding tasks and using it to generate assets. First one is fine as long as the people using it aren’t retards, and basically every software company does that, second is disgusting.

Their anime/manga say otherwise.

Gore-posting doesn't really work when you become desensitized to it.
>>
>>747864849
Coders are never going back. Soon they won't even know how to go back
>>
>>747867212
Sure I suppose, but Americans are doing it because they need their job and the health insurance it provides. Japs do it because they have been generationally indoctrinated to believe it is correct and they believe in it.
>>
>>747866469
how is grok supposed to keep tranny away from gaming?
>>
>>747864849
Why the fuck would it? People cry about vibe coders, but who would write the same code for something like a ball bouncing over and over again? I don't work in any sort of coding environment, so I honestly ask what the benefit is to having a human code simple shit over an AI. And don't say spaghetti code or anything because we get tons of that with real people anyway. What does AI do on rote repetitive bullshit tasks that a person wouldn't?

>nooo you can't post a cover of a manga on its wikipedia article that's a CRIME and it's equivalent to raping dead children
>training an AI on that manga and copying it for free? yeah that's fine, it is legal after all
morality = legality, the mindset of backwards pagan people who never found Christ
>>
E33 used gen AI and it got GOTY
>>
I'm still waiting for that myth of AI will make game cheaper
>>
Most senior programmers (age 50+) are using AI, too. It's just another tool to them.
>>
>>747864695
It's just faster and easier to get codesnippets from AI than browsing stackoverflow for what you need. As long as you understand what the code does its fine

I remember reading how the Chinese thought that technology progress has been nothing but positive for them, so they didn’t mind using AI. Japan may be relatively similar

There are literally 5 of this same thread making the same retarded extrapolations for rage bait and nothing is being done about
And you retards keep posting in them

The general end consumer doesn't give two shits how the product was made so long as the final product satisfies their desires. This is, has, and always will be the case no matter how many terminally online or "artists" cry about it.

>ai
It's not 'artificial intelligence' by any definition
>companies regularly working with large databases use software to navigate them faster
No fucking shit, Ranjeet.
>It's durr future
Of database sorting on a large scale? Sure. Of creating? LMFAO it only makes noise maps of existing data you fucking filthy subhuman. It's fucking useless for small companies due to the cost of needing a multi million dollar days center to operate
>>
>>747871387
everywhere but the west is generally positive about it. the poor countries see it as emancipatory, the rich countries see it as something that can be used to reduce workload and further improve their lives
the west is neurotic and cynical and hyperindividualist and distrustful of institutions so ai only invokes images of peter thiel skynet panopticon watching your every move and drone striking you if you step out of line
>>
>>747864695
Is that including the various doujinshi developers?
>>
>>747873495
>the poor are retards
>the rich are greedy
>the west is asking the real questions about what it all means for the future of humanity
All you did was reinforce that those who blindly support AI are either too stupid or too gullible to think about the drawbacks.
