>>748075770It will always be playable in every format, even advanced/modern. It shows up occasionally as a combo piece whenever dragon link decks are meta. But, as a center piece the way it used to back on its release? Nah, not even close. But, hey, it's a much better fate than cards like dark armed dragon which are completely unplayable in any deck in any format (other than historical formats).

I like that you don't have to grind the same low levels as much for DP since the game showers you in DP, cards (now themed after the place you get them) and minigames that earn you DP and cards lol. Pretty sure you can do like a pickup card run and still be able to make a relatively decent character deck. One of the best QoL changes.
