It never reaches the heights of season 1 (ep 4 has some flaws). 400 Days has some good vignettes but it leads to pretty much nothing.I can't help but come up with "what ifs", I loved S1 and wished all of it was as good.I'm not sure I can recommend the rest in good faith. The first two episodes of season 2 are good (2 should have spent more time with the cabin group like a campfire scene), three was okay except for the cameos, but the rest are among the worst. I always wonder what Season 2 could have been if Kenny didn't come back to steal the spotlight from the new cast. He's a great character and him leaving Clem and AJ in Wellington is the best ending for the series as a whole, but the awful writing you need to get through to reach that ending is a challenge. He also had a good ending if you save Ben already.Season 3 had a good idea (let's follow a new group of characters) but it gets bad very quickly. Javier is a fun character but pretty much everyone else is bad, even Clem.Season 4 is okay but they could have handled Lilly's return better, making her a little less blatantly evil and/or give her a better goal than wasting strong people to grab some kids. Not a huge fan of the kids vs adults story overall but at least most characters are good.The series really frustrates me. Maybe I should just write fanfiction. Or make my own choice driven zombie game.

David is a soldier first, father second but he's more prepared for dangerous situations compared to everyone else, so he brings security and an important position in a thriving settlement compared to Javi's nomadic lifestyle but lacks the warmth. Clem coincidentally gets to meet these two people and is in the middle of a family feud, unsure who to really take sides with.
