I don't know if this is controversial or not, but I always liked Boom's Eggman (the show) the most. Something about a washed up Eggman being too lazy to simply move away, and building this bizarre dynamic with the rest of the group made me laugh. I don't think every incarnation should be like that, but it's fun from time to time.
