I know fads have existed forever but it still is hard to wrap my head around how things like power rangers could be so huge back in the 90s then basically dead as disco soon after. Id think those people who were into back then as kids would still like sentais today even if they wanted new shows with new characters and stories. I know they tried to ride the fad as long as they possibly could with a dozen different versions of power rangers coming out but what I find interesting is how other shows like the Simpsons can keep going for decades yet shit like power rangers had such little staying power. Does the Simpsons make money or has it just kept going entirely out of spite to the viewers and theyd keep pumping it out even if no one watched

Outside of the NES games there's the Gaoranger and Hurricanger PS1 games and then it takes until the DS to finally get a Gokaiger game which is so bad (It's a boring minigame collection you can't ever fail if you're older than 2), a Gokaiger Wii game that's like this barebones Musou game that's equally as boring and bad, and a Go-Busters game that either the PR Samurai DS game is based off of or the other way around that's nothing but voice spam.Once they went into the 3DS era they released a really bad Kyoryuger game that's somehow more voice-spammy than the Go-Bus one and even more unfair, two PR clones based on it (Megaforce and Super Megaforce), an actual good game because it's a clone of a Kamen Rider game (Ninninger Game de Wasshoi), and then a barebones boring puzzle game in the Zyuohger one. Once Zyuohger happened then the only games to release past that were a browser ToQger puzzle game where you did the thing where you arrange trains so they can all leave the map, and then as part of the Nari Kids brand alongside Precure and Ultraman R/B they released an awful Lupat game which is 1:1 basically the Gokaiger DS game with better graphics.
