>this is how a homeless person looks like according to Japanese developers
No, this is
>>748518759That's a bitch, not a person...
Kat wears a very fancy trash bag.
>>748518565That background was blue before she arrived
>>748518565Kat stinks.
I almost had a homeless gf once. I met a homeless girl outside a library, talked to her, and took her to a bar and Olive Garden. Then I never saw her again. Feels bad, man.
>>748518759yjk
Kat isn't homeless she just lives among sewer filth and trash that's her home
>>748522017looks comfy desu. I would love to live there with her
>>748522085Imagine the smell.
>>748522085Raven moves in there with kat according to the OVA.I wish the story of grush was a little more coherent. The story of this princess from a magical sky kingdom falling down into this grimy polluted nasty town is really kino
>>748518565This is how the English language looks like to brown people
>>748522387
>>748518565Cool art style, fun gimmick, sexy character, but the combat gets old extremely quickly and the story sucks balls. I was really hyped for the sequel, hoping that they would resolve all of my issues.... They just made the same game again, except bigger. Maybe a third game....
>>748522278I would still love her
>>748522554I think on some level the story sucking balls is intentionalGravity daze is the Japanese. daze can be read as in 'days' , Gravity Days, but daze also reads as disorientation/confusion So Kat's adventure is supposed to be slice of life episodic type stuff mixed with utterly incomprehensible dreamlike schizo shit. Kat even points out frequently how she has no clue what's going on lol
>>748522650Would you love her enough to take a bath after her in her dirty bathwater? Water conservation is a serious issue in Hekseville.
>>748522771I was wondering how they grow crops for food or like grapes for the wine since they're French - or where they acquire the massive steel beams that make up the structure suspending the cityThe best answer I've found is that they have no electricity in this universe and they use 'gravity energy' to power things and also create resources as needed. They can just produce matter somehow. But ultimately I don't think you're supposed to wonder about it much
>>748522936Well it is LITERALLY a dream world. Logic be damned
>>748522743Maybe, but I'm sure you'll expect my answer; I want a well told story with a satisfactory beginning-middle-end, at least so some extent. It's too bad we'll never find out how deep the rabbit hole goes
>>748523110Not quite a dream it has physicality, time, and laws of physics, I think the rift worlds visited in both games are intended to be prototypes or test worlds made by the same dreaming gods. What's weird is that there's ancient civilization ruins scattered throughout them and also things from earth like irl photos , satellites, windmills, cicada shells...
>>748522771Kat doesn't wear underwear btw .
>>748523754That's a shame, I'd very much like to steal a pair of her rank, well-used underwear.
>>748523807You'll have to settle for a work shirt
>>748524115Good enough. I'll have her wear it under a parka in the summer to really marinate it up for me.
The story seemed like It was approaching "It was all a dream" (of that dreamer girl you met) territory, so maybe It's for the better that It was never finished kek
>>748524324that girl is a god who participated in creating the universe, her 'dream' is a bit different from a human's dream.
Holy shit.>Breaking: Nintendo Reportedly Approaches Sony for Co-Publishing Deal to Resurrect 'Gravity Rush 3'>TOKYO — In a stunning twist that could rewrite the rules of industry rivalry, insider reports claim that Nintendo has formally approached Sony Interactive Entertainment to discuss a co-publishing partnership for a new entry in the cult-classic Gravity Rush franchise.>According to prominent industry leakers, Nintendo is looking to fully fund the development of a sequel, tentatively titled Gravity Rush 3, for their Switch 2 hardware. Under the rumored proposal, Sony would retain the primary intellectual property rights, while Nintendo would handle the game's production budget and marketing in exchange for platform exclusivity.
>>748524296It's not necessary she smells bad on her own without a parka
>>748524631Meanwhile, in reality, this washed-up girl is busy working minimum wage at a hot dog stand lol.
>>748524631At this point we'll probably get a recomp within the next 5 years, maybe even less since It's a Vita tirle. Then just backport the remastered textures, and It will be fine.
>>748524993The remaster looks and sounds worse than the original so ideally someone recomps that one
>>748525708Average bluepoint hack job
You guys want to make love to a woman who bathes/brushes her teeth with sewer water?
>>748527738No but thankfully kat doesn't do thatAnyway I hope you are all playing gr2 with restored online mode on PC
>>748518565Will I miss anything major if I just play 2 first?
>>748528198Yes, don't.
>>748525708>The remaster looks and sounds worse than the originaluhh, elaborate?
>>748528518the audio and visuals is worse, it's a bluepoint remaster
>>748528369Guess I'll emulate 1 soon.
>>7485281981 is the better game desu. Short and sweet, better challenge missions, better weird/melancholy mood
>>748529856Btw play on vita if you can. The novelty of a big openworld game on the little handheld and the way it uses the gyroscope with the irl screen are really cool.
>>748529856>>748530092Damn, I don't have a Vita.
>>748518565>>748518759yes.
>fps patches fixed>motion blur removed>performance improvedonce I catch up with genshin(HA) I'll go back to emulating GR2
>>748531406I'm hoping for for a recomp then we can get outfit mods And Sony will have truly lost this series
>>748532608someone already made outfit mods
>>748532987Those are just retextures. I mean fully new outfits hairstyles etc.Or, you know, no clothing at all.
>>748533043where are the retextures?
>>748522278she stinky
cee wee
>>748533106Here are some retextures including a weird aryan kat with white skin/ blue eyes and a really ugly nude skinhttps://youtu.be/hbiJ98--w7I?si=E8f7Tm2bjRmxg3oK
>>748533121
>>748518565How about western’s?
>>748533214oh neat
Do they...?
>>748533850Do they?
>>748533850High intensity anti-gravity lesbo sex, yes.
What a career.Loved Silent Hill and Gravity Rush but I really didn't care for Slitterhead and Siren.
>>748533850They don't. Kat is straight. half the side quests involve her trying to get a boyfriend
>>748518565I wish the games went more into what the gods were about and why the world is structured the way it is. A lot of potential neat lore that went nowhere.
>>748535040I am glad it was left vague rather than having the life and mystery sucked out of it for the sake of "lore"
>>748523230>>748522743I thought 2 did a very good job of presenting it's story, the biggest problem is that it has to speedrun the entire third game as a four hour epilogue because Japan Studio got told at the 11th hour they were getting axed the second the game released. Same meddling bullshit as 1, you can tell it was originally much larger and had to be cut down to just the first act after Sony had it moved from PS3 to the Vita for it's launch.
>>748535192>speedrun the entire third game as a four hour epilogueIronically that was just the cut ending from the first game. Original gravity rush 1 storyboards have the game progress as you're familiar with but after defeating the evil red orb thing (final boss) 2 more areas remain. First is the government district neu hiraleon above hekseville. This level is actually fully modeled in-game but you're never allowed to go there. This would be where kat confronts the fascist army dude rather than him dying in a cutscene. Then the final section would have been the castle above hekseville Eto, this is the part which got recycled for that epilogue in gr2 except they covered it in snow and it was not explorable as intended.
>>748534980brutal moggings
>>748535407
>>748518565>first game runs at 60 fps, the second game runs at 30 fpsFuck this. The ps4 emulator 60 fps mod also has issues.
