The barrier to entry and learning curve are significantly lower, but it isn't as fun and cool that way. Plus, none of the planes in it are the F-16 or F-18, and that's what everyone wants to fly at the end of the day no matter what they claim.

Just finished the land battleship mission. The game is enjoyable but also terribly mid so far. I think its one of the weaker entry to the serie. Like it deserves a spot in lower B or high C tier.

I tried playing Ace Combat 7 with all the hype and by mission ~15 I found it to be extremely repetitive. Most enemies feel artificially difficult and it feels like most of the time in missions is spent flying pointlessly with no enemy on the radar, which is even worse than a cutscene because literally nothing is happening other than radio dialogue.What am I missing?
