It's bad when someone that has 0 coding knowledge does it because AI code isn't perfect and they'll just have AI do 90% of the work and the decomp plays worse and has more bugs than just emulating. When someone that knows what they're doing uses a bit of AI for help and then peer reviews what they're given then it's okay.
