Anyone can time the lyrics of our finished songs to help out! It's easy! We're gonna have a strict deadline this year for the stream, and this is 1 task we can get work done on whenever. First, go to the website listed above. Paste the lyrics into the text area then click 'Synchronize to music'. You will be taken to a new page. Click the Audio button and select the matching music file. Then start the playback with the START button.Now all you need to do is look at the lyrics on screen, and click "Next Line" (or your spacebar) as the line starts being sung. The lyric in the text area will be highlighted white letting you know the line was tagged. If you mess up, you can pause with the Continue button (now a timer) and click the button next to any lyric to rewind the song timing to that point. It's not super strict on timing, you're basically just listening to the song and clicking when each line starts.When you reach the end of the lyrics you posted, the 'Next Line' button should now be replaced with a 'Get File' button which will download the .lrc file to your PC.Now, just open the .lrc file with a text editor (even plain Notepad works) and take only the timed lyric lines alongside timestamps and paste them into Rentry. I do want to say I think writefagging has a real skill curve the same as singfagging, but it matters a lot more for writefags, because while "bad" singing is soulful and still always used, bad writing rots and is ignored. For that reason, I think it just makes sense for someone that wants to be a writefag to try to learn basic writing stuff past syllables and identifying rhymes before submitting full lyric sets. There's no shame in being "an idea guy" either if you think you have good ideas but don't know how to write lyrics yet. But if you're fucking up a song hard because you don't know the basics, it's not going to get sung anyway, so learning the basics first just makes sense.

not sure what i think of this new arrangement where writefags take suggestion. used to be that i'd crawl through the doc and end up discovering new music. still had a bunch of those lined up this year but when the choice is between learning something new or singing one of my favorite bands you're forcing me to make a very easy decision. i guess on the upside it could get new voices in that don't like learning new things.
oh and if i sing the Naked Snake and Ocelot i'm keeping the lalilule lalilule lalilulelo part, aint nothing wrong with it

Fucking up flow or miscounting syllables is not on the same level as a quick fix singing error like mispronouncing. It's a fundamental misunderstanding of your sole purpose. If you can't even adhere to the syllable count as a writefag, just close out the text file and pack it up.
