Beat the canto after I spent half a day getting over just how shitty the second boss fight was. Last boss felt very intimidating at first but it was actually pretty cool. The last segment dragged on too much imo, and I didn't actually quite get what the victory condition was.I loved the reveal of Mersault's past, but I feel putting Carmen so front and center demystifies her too much. Then again, if they're so boldly establishing her as the big bad instead of the Head for some reason, I figure they had to actually reintroduce her to the stage.Also, what was up with the blue girl resetting time so hard she even makes Carmen forget stuff? And why was it so important that Carmen didn't know we knew we were looping? What was she gonna do? Being able to control his SP is incredible and I bought aromashu along with rime shank to help out in scorch and it felt useful. But having units that can burst down the adds is also very important so raw damage is also very key. Scorch felt good just because being able to S3 on demand to kill adds was very valuable, even if caposault can run out of bullets easily

Just finished the first fight in Part 3It's kind of crazy we're reaching Ruina endgame levels of fights taking so longWhile I beat it first try, it came down to the wire at the very end (and I mean the very end) due to a failed clash, which highlights my biggest gripe with the fight not being difficulty, it's the random distribution of 'Thumping Heart' and 'Stillness'The sinner who had 'Stillness' at the time who was to win the clash against his Sloth AoE had no way to win the clash even with EGO, nor could any other Sinners clash with it and winI have to say it felt like a mistake to play House of Spiders for the fight at times because I was killing my support+healing with Ryoshu dodges throughout it, but it also was what ended up saving me in the endI hear horror stories about the 2nd fight, so maybe I'll try Burn+Tremor

On one hand it gives you a perfect solution in the current situation, but on the other hand you're left with no memories or experience of that event. Absolutely amazing Canto. The fights were great, the Sisyphus gimmick was interesting, main storyline progressed a lot, lots of cool new characters were introduced...The balance was kind of weird, though. Buffet in Part 3 was harder battle than final one, I nearly team-wiped against him, while nobody came even close to dying in final fight.

Did you answer the survey?I personally think if anything gets nerfed, the rouge managers are the dumbest part of the fight and could be weakened a bit. His buffs make them into three mini nukes and they're surprisingly tankier than you'd think even with him slashing their health, so it's really easy to not put enough focus on them right when he spawns them so that you end up getting fucked by all 3 when he buffs them. Also I'm not going back in to read his skill text again, but in my first try I didn't notice that the buff skill hits all 3 or that it was guaranteed to go first (maybe that's a duality thing), so my first strategy was to just focus the one being buffed before he went and mismanaged that turn heavily

I got through all of part 3 in one marathon session (at work) from like 7am to ~2pm with a break here or there to do some work shit. Buffet was the hardest once the immortal rouge fuckers came out but I still ended up winning with like 4 people left. I was using burnmor but I don't really have much in the way of EGOs uptied except a handful of key ones (fluid sac, regret, great tri) so I didnt have particularly notable AOE capabilities.I did pull a classic limbus player retard moment and not read the boulder rolling instructions and didn't realize you could grab the fucking thing, I punched it up the whole way and it was incredibly aids. Also I restarted Jeanne twice because I kept trying to gamble that I could kill 2 of the reflections in a single turn and then not and she'd get a full 3 stacks.
