>>748870730Can't imagine why people aren't interested in this bad ass girlboss game.
I don't play woketrash.
>>748870730Even without the woman, it is an objectively worse game mechanically and narratively.
>>748870730No-one cares about coonsoole slop.
>>748870730I like how they advertise this game in the japan theme state of play, specifically the japanese VA as a poster girl for it. The japanese VA is a very pretty and very feminine girl, the antithesis of the English VA, it felt extremely on the nose.
>>748870804> be a huge yellow fever fag> this woman so ugly that's i don't want to fuck her Never trought that's a nip could be so unnatractive
>>748870970
>>748871032
>>748870730The rouge like mode is exactly what I wanted from this game. I always wanted a way to just hop in and get into combat because its so good, and this gives me exactly that. Before id just clear little camps over and over in a few minutes. The new story stuff is also cool, with all the stuff it brings, but the rouge like mode is what im in it for.
>>748870970I can't watch anything with Sandra Oh
>>748870730She powerful-woman screamed too hard and scared everyone away.
>>748870804>all this shit and he still hasn't played Mujina of MisoJust fuck off, casual.
>>748872528>Mujina of MisoThanks, it's on the list now. Next thread.
>people begged ubisoft for ass creed japan for years>ubisoft said lol no>sony did it themselves with ghost of sushi>people love it and ubisoft seethe>they make ass creed shadows with a black man to one up sony>sony makes their sequel lame and gay as a response
>>748872653It's like they are playing Russian Roulette with a Makarov.
>>748872717>the makarov in question
I bought it. I was looking forward to the new map>Get to new map>It's all dead trees and shit stains and snake people torturing small animalsWow fuck this. I liked Yotei because it was beautiful. They went full fucking torture shit ugly with the DLC.
I had to scroll all the way to the bottom, past all of the PR shit and "customer reviews" to figure out what could warrant selling the game for $70USD again only a year later.>Cosmetics>Cosmetics that used to be pre-order only>1 hour DLC that was clearly cut out from the base game>Shitty endless combat mode>Multiplayer mode, which is actually pretty cool but that shit was a free update for the first game, makes no sense to charge for it hereAnd no PC port because fuck you if you didn't buy the PS5 before the price got jacked up for the 6th time since launch.
I was finally going to get around to playing the first game but the scary big teeth lady made me reconsider
>>748873452Porting to PC was beyond retarded for them to begin with as a brand. You're also forgetting that the physical copy doesn't even come with all the content on it because they were too lazy to print a second disk so they provide all the DLC and most of the game on the disk and then tell you to suck eggs on downloading the rest.
>>748873678Porting to PC was great because it showed everyone who thought they were missing out just shit their "exclusive" games are.
>>748870730Female led wokeflop
>>748873678Porting to PC was only a bad move because they had so few games and nearly all of their games were the same tired Sony Cinematic Experience crap. If the PS5 had a library as large as the PS2 then porting to PC would have been a brilliant move because it would have been free money. People would still buy the console in droves because ease of use and brand loyalty, but a portion of the people who would otherwise never buy a console will buy a PC version of a game. But, just like selling consoles depends on a large game library, profiting on non-exclusivity depends on the same thing.
>Game releases>It's not complete>Unironically never buying a game with paid DLC.
>>748874041>because it would have been free moneyYeah, for a small amount of time and then as we saw while they were porting it with the entire PS4 backlog working for them the sales went down significantly and most releases were selling barely anything close to what the original titles ported did. The Spidey 2 disparity in sales is a great example. It also has the effect of you gaining significantly less money in the long term because now they're not spending 100% of the money in your ecosystem + getting a 30% cut from every developer buying games on your platform AND the subscriptions on your platform.PC porting is by far the stupidest thing any first party can ever do as it destroys so much of their brand and makes it much harder for them to stand out further devaluing the brand while not forcing anyone into their ecosystem. It was good for consumers but it was bad for the longevity of their company and then in the long run for consumers because they get less games.
>>748870730Not even snoys cared about this game while the first one was very well liked. Teils you a lot about its quality.
>>748870814yeah it flopped compared to sushi
if I want to play a kunoichi game, I'll boot up a good one
>>748874484Indeed
>>748870730>Getting a complete goyOy veyyyy shut it downnnn
Despite the Ubishit formula I really did like Ghost of Tsushima since it had a lot of cultural framing of the time period. Sucker Punch talked a lot about how they looked towards cinema for inspiration but I think Jin's actual character progression is way more akin to a Yoshitsune-type story. They make a pretty consistent reference to the Genpei War through older characters and there's a lot of Zen Buddhist influence through a lot of the characters. I thought looking at Yotei that seeing the Shamisen they'd realised how well they captured aspects I really liked about Tsushima, was kinda sad to see it didn't have much of a place/presence within the theming like the Biwa did in Tsushima despite not being used by Jin and instead him using his shakuhachi.I haven't played Yotei, but I do know that it attempts to portray the Ainu and kinda goes for the same slight fictional event of historical basis like Tsushima does. The basic story of revenge doesn't draw me in or make me wanna play it and despite it being a Japan-centric historical game that isn't centred around "Musashi, Shinsengumi, 'Edo period'", I dunno if I can play a very western structured revenge story mixed with onryou. I'm curious if they actually mention or allude to Koshamain's War at all. I know that during the time period its set in, there should be relative peace between the Ainu and the Japanese.Maybe I'm just not as interested in the time period honestly.
>>748875098I find it funny how Jin becoming the Ghost was the start of his downfall, while in Yotei, being a Ghost is basically the equivalent of being a Power Ranger.»»
>>748870730>Zero threads on /v/That unironically means it’s a masterpiece
>>748872434Maybe it's good that this didn't come to PC
>>748875456You know you want itStop pretending
>>748870730Who gives a fuck? Even normies hate her.
I'm playing through tsushima, and I'm bored of chasing icons in the map. Combat is cool, but I'm dying to just finish it.
NO STEAMNO BUY
>>748874326>he Spidey 2 disparity in sales is a great example.I figure that was more the cast of Sony trying to charge full price for a late port, vs. the earlier ones which clocked in around $30. That and the inconsistency of their ports leading players to just sit & wait so they don't get hit with another TLOU1:R botch-job.
>>748875335because Jin is a samurai, with all the cultural baggage that entails. the broad in Yotei is just a broad with a sword. the location itself, Hokkaido, was a rugged exotic frontier for the Japanese at the time so there was far less imperial/shogunate authority to take offense to the actions of a rogue samurai/ninja. Hokkaido was pretty notorious for being a place where those trying to flee the law could find refuge. as late as the 19th century you had separatists trying to set up their own independent nations up there.
>>748875914They're always going to charge full price, the initial games were to get their foot in the door with the market and make it known they existed. Yakuza did the same thing on PC where 0 and K1 cost $20 but everything after cost $60-70 despite being ported years later.
>>748870970It's a californian
>>748872434I really need to know why did they put this in. They could have her using a mask with mechanic that can turn whistle into a wailling, like aztec death whistle.
>>748876084I'm reminded of P4:Golden just shadowdropping for $20 as well, and then everything there-on was far more.
>>748870937Mechanically, no.
>>748876194>I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR
>>748873839Sure, sis. Enjoy your own exclusives, I hear Star Citizen is great.
>>748875732I just want more of the multiplayer content, since Legends in GoT was far better than it fucking deserved to be. I liked it more than the single-player campaign.
>>748876391the entire eroge genre is pc exclusive
>>748870730>american asian female protagonistugh
>>748870730never heard of this game, will this make a good secret santa gift for my weeb male feminist coworker?
