As for Epimenides, in Hopes it seemed like that might be the name for a kind of bio-weapon created by the Agarthans to serve as a super soldier and inspire Agarthan troops. Thoughts and feelings might have been created for the Epimenides soldiers as a sort of template. There is something interesting in FW regarding Epimenides: A Grand Megalith notes that Epimenides was a researcher who invented Epimenium, a powdered alloy that can resonate with human brain waves. Records of the Grand Megalith speculate that Epimenides invented Epimenium while researching ways to preserve all of his knowledge eternally, and Epimenium may have been the result of Epimenides searching for a means to preserve his soul externally in some way.

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out but the ordering of the lords and their groups in the support list by default is>Cai>Bertrand>Dietrich>Orchel>Theodora>Talimun>Leda>AnatoliaGathered by looking at Eshmel's support logs through the routes going down the list. Each lord's faction is placed in that order with the lord you're playing as moved to the top along with any other units you have already interacted with since they aren't considered hidden at that point. Since the sub lords don't have supports with Eshmel the start point for them was determined by their retainer (Gaitz, Ursula, Sha Lan, Diego). I don't know if this amounts to anything but it is interesting that there are sub lords placed before the four lords.
