it was fun playing it on nightmare mode. when i played it on psp, i considered the game beaten if i could complete the prologue chapter. the remake difficulty is more balanced and perhaps the optional boss is even more difficult (less exploitable) than the original's

Playing it right now, because a friend kept shilling it to me.
Trails in the sky 1 and 2 are his top 2 rpgs.
Seems alright so far, but I can see thst it will be bad for my autism since I have an obsessive need to see what every npc has to say at any point given in time.

I'm in chapter 3. Tita and Renne are so cute. Damn, I'm taking my time but I think my game time is gonna be way longer than the original but that was the same for first. Also before I go to towers, I usually replace Tita with Zin begrudgingly but this time I really want to keep her.

These are so much more reasonable in remake because you can move and attack at the same time and you get to tap stuff with the very edge of the hitbox from outside explosion range. You just didn't know but you'll know next time

Original expects you to move but then doesn't allow you to move and then act
