Stay with blunt weapons (the police baton early on) until you start fighting the blue zombie enemies and switch to the rapier (one of the three starting weapons and the best) but if you want slower but super damage you go with the booster glive which will carry you far,explore a lot,don't ever use boss souls to get ergo,it's never worth it.Enjoy one of the best soulslike
>>748901872Not in my experience. I went for the biggest fucking weapons I could get my hands on and curb stomped the entire game. Never played the DLC though so I don't know how well they hold up there.
You can breeze through the entire game using just the starting greatsword from choosing the Sweeper path. The fable art that gives you free perfect blocks on it is so fucking busted.
I love playing difficult games that require precision input with 30 fps and input lag on a tiny screen!
