>>748906291I don't give a shit. I played MGS1 on the Family PC as a kid, I got gud at the VR missions and got first place on all of them, loved doing the Cyborg Ninja trials the most. When the PS2 was being announced all the kids were talking about the graphics and how insane games were gonna be then they revealed MGS2. bought up the local PSM that had the trailer on one of the discs just to rewatch that bridge scene and read all about the Technology they were putting in. Found out MGS2 demo was coupled with ZOE, saved money from christmas/birthdays to buy a PS2 and ZOE (Also fun as fuck), must've replayed that demo a million times just doing odd shit or trying to find things. MGS2 drops and its fun as fuck (thought raiden was gay though). Same thing with MGS3, hyped as fuck to fight inna jungle, that first trailer, we Big Boss now. Played the fuck out of it. Had the same magic as 2 where there's lodesatechnology to mess with. Finally get to 4. That final fight. the old MGS1 healthbar comes up, alert starts playing. Immediately brought back to my childhood playing MGS1 fighting Liquid on the destroyed Rex. Even does the punch sound effect. Swaps to MGS2, same move set there, and HP bars. then again with 3 the CQC and Snake eater. All those moments playing these games again. 4 has many faults but god damn did it end on the highest of notes. Solid Snake was my first vidya hero that I looked up to and 4 gave him one hell of a last ride.
