The story is as intrusive as it was in Assault Horizon, the game is nothing but hairballing and it's the same kind of sterile soft-reboot version of the world that made 7 so boring. At least they finally have a battle pass and Ace tokens for purchase like every Ace Combat player's been desperately begging for since 6, I'm sure the investors are thrilled there's finally an AC multiplayer for the Modern Audience.
