Is Japan still the land of kino?I'm starting to feel like their quality and creativity in vidya (and anime) is declining.Name 3 games of the past 3 years that prove Japan still got it.Not a thinly veiled recommendations thread because i don't have money for vidya right now.I'm genuinely interested to hear arguments for Japan still being the best at making games today.

The only thing that can not be blamed on DP is probably the ED to Part 7, which was a WB Japan (not international, their Japanese branch) nepo pick.

I think video gaming on a whole has been on a downward turn since about 2006.Anime is doing even worse.Movies though- that's were things are going well at the moment for the creativity industries in Japan, I'd say.I think we're actually in a new golden age of J-horror.
