How come no other developer makes Metroid Prime like games? there's probably a market for them, currently untapped into.
>>
Not even Metroid Prime itself has ever been truly successful, you could argue every game since the Gamecube version of the original flopped.

I'm playing Prime right now and it's another case of you retards tricking me. It makes Fusion look like a directionless open world by comparison. Also these bosses are terrible
>>
I don't see the market for it

They're out there, but go ahead and move those goalposts for the sake of prolonging your argument.

Not without playing 2 and 3, and desu I'm bouncing off this shit so never ever

Because "fps metroidvania" is just a first person open world with area gating tied to character progression. Very common these days, though it's usually done in a mediocre way. I love Metroid prime, but I first played them when I was a little kid, and halo was too hard. Most of what makes prime great is the atmosphere, and that's not genre dependent.

>3D Metroidvania platformer with the floatiest, most unsatisfying movement, physics, and FPS gunplay you've ever seen
There's absolutely no appeal. Metroid Prime was about getting Metroid 3D. There's no reason to use such a hyper-specific and niche formula for any other reason

you can play 4 without playing anything else. most video games are like that. you don't actually need to play 20 games of some series over the decades to play the newest one

the System Shock games are 3d metroidvanias (the first game and its remake more so than the sequel)
Dark Souls 1 and Jedi Survivor also feel like Prime in design and setting

remastered didn't

First-Person (Shooter) Action-Adventure games that have an emphasis on worldbuilding, both in regards to storytelling and general lore?
I mean there's Bioshock, Borderlands, Cyberpunk, Deus Ex, Fallout, Far Cry, Half-Life, Halo, Metro, Resident Evil (7/8), S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Starfield, and System Shock.
Do you play video games, OP?
