are pc gamers still not ready for such an unorthodox idea that would revolutionize pc gaming?

>>
>>748935059
Oh the scroll wheel is absolutely fucked on this mouse. That happened to me too, like just a week after buying it. There's a permanent fix floating around, but you'll have to open the mouse to do it.

Least retarded variation of that idea was the 3-rd button on the right in G600 mmo.

>>
>>748932332
This is a massive piece of shit btw. The scrollwheel is dogshit and will ghost scroll constantly because dust and hair will get into that huge fucking front gap and trigger the sensor because it's a shitty digital scroller.
The side panel is poorly constructed and after half a year the buttons will get unresponsive unless you crush them

This mouse has so many buttons and features a modern superlight mouse could use. The left and right tilt buttons on the wheel were amazing and you could easuly add those side tip buttons too since fingers always rest closer towards the middle of the buttons
>>
>>748937305
The issue there is that a ton of games basically have no idea what to do with all those extra buttons.
They're often not recognized at all or in a weird way.
>>
>>748930619
This is the mouse I use and I bought up enough new old stock so I can use it for all eternity.
>>
>>748930492
Well, I wouldn't object to it.
>>
>>748937502
You can bind them to mimic generic keys in the logitech software, which you can then bind ingame just fine.
>>
>>748930619
just two more buttons on the left side

>>748936973
I had an mmo mouse once and the buttons are way too fucking small.
>>
>>748936973
It does take getting used to but eventually you can reliably do it. Doesn't make much sense to me either, I can only tell you from experience that it works.

What's a good 5/6 button wired mouse that isn't RGB?
>>
>>748930492
Here's an even more unorthodox idea, an office chair that won't break under my gargantuan ass.
I don't know if it's me or the chair, because even chairs rated for big fat guys like myself, break in a few years. Fuck that, I want a chair that's steel, welded together, rust resistant, and can stop a bullet. Removable padding would be a huge plus, so I can wash it when I'm tired of smelling my own stinky farts.

Probably have to design it yourself and have a metal shop make thr frame and then have an upholsterer make the padding.

That's the sweet spot. Standard mouse, 2 extra side buttons that the thumb can utilize.
Any more than that and you're looking at too much dexterity.

For people serious about games that need a lot of key options i'm surprised foot buttons/pedals haven't become mroe popular. 2 huge limbs that could hit 1 single or 2 buttons each.
>>
>>748941630
There's a program called "voice attack" that can kick off macros based on voice commands. It's great if a game has infrequently used commands that aren't worth valuable button real-estate but you still want to occasionally access without needing to remove your hands to press some distant key or dig through submenus.

>>748930492
whats wrong with just putting them on the sides? this shit looks awful to use and you'd probably end up clicking both if the mouse isnt ungodly huge because there isnt enough space

no this dosent revolutionize anything, shut the fuck up and just get a g402 if you want extra buttons
>>
When I was a retarded 7 yo I used to play counter strike source with a ball mouse until my cousin told me my aim would be better with a normal mouse
>>
the og deus ex mx master cant be improved, had this thing for nearly a decade, the rubber is cracked and the plastic worn and the top scroll wheel mode button doesnt work but fuck its gone through a lot

what? how do you replace the battery? naga v3 pro right? dont you have to remove the pads and take it all apart?
>>
>>748948632

>>
>>748948662
because wireless mice dont come with replacable batteries? im using this exact mouse it won't even let me charge limit so i have to manually unplug after 2 hrs

I don't understand all your jargon young man, for me? I got a mouse with a wire, I plug it into my computer and I play. Simple as.
>>
>>748948632
>naga v3 pro
No, the naga v2 hyperspeed. The v3 has a rechargeable battery with a dock but with the v2 it takes AA. I have rechargeable AAs.
>dont you have to remove the pads and take it all apart
With the v2 you pop off the top and replace them. I know it is an older mouse but I don't like RGB lights and I don't need the swapping side plate.
>>
>>748934843
Have you actually used any of those side buttons?
>>
>>748930619
I refuse to buy any mouse with more than the basics these days because they're all hot garbage that have their left click or scroll wheels start failing in a year.
Doesn't matter if its a simple $15 one or a $150 logitech with all the frills except the second one hurts way more to replace and makes me feel like a fucking retard for buying it in the first place.
>>
>>748936973
you don't press down with your whole thumb, just the tip
been using one since like 2013-14, it's pretty intuitive
>>
>>748949561
>left click failing
It's 2026 they fixed that with optical switches
>>
>>748940316
So pointless. 'oh look I bound copy and paste to mouse keys.' It was right click, context menu. It's already intuitive. You genuinely don't need more than the 3 buttons.
>>
>>748948323
How much is thus?
>>
>>748930492
That would result in so many missclicks with my boomer grip (first two fingers on top).

The thing about two buttons on top though is you don't have to adjust your grip. I feel like with four buttons you'd have to constantly loosen your grip slightly so you don't click an unintended button.

There used to be a time when I wanted this
>>
>>748936894
My Scimitar's scroll wheel started doing that after about four years. It's an easy fix. Take the top part of the chassis off and use a q-tip to dab 91% isopropyl alcohol so it drips into the scroll encoder, the thing attached to the wheel. Then just move the wheel up and down a whole lot. Repeat a few times.
My wheel went from spazzing out constantly to working perfectly. Most of the people I saw online said to put lubricant in it, but I think that would eventually make it worse. The alcohol will actually flush the dirt out of the scroll encoder; I could tell because the bit that pooled up under my mouse was greyish black instead of clear.
>>
>>748937305
I have completely ignored the possibility to bind shit to the wheel tilt options since my old mouse didn't have them. Thank you for reminding me.

I use a cheap mouse with 7 buttons that I got on aliexpress, I clean it occasionally and it's all good

I don't even shitpost much, actively trying not to waste time on stupid arguments nowadays. But they're nice to have for lazy browsing, and half are good for non-web stuff too. I wouldn't find use for every single available button in vidya anyway, that's too many.
>>
>>748952491
i had one
its actually pretty nice feeling but the dials and shit are complete overkill.
It came with little weights you could put in the bottom to make it heavier

I think it died pretty quickly after only a few years
