Everyone loved WOOOOOOOAH daredevil and magic spear. Everyone loved the DLC. It was loved by fans and critics and is the best selling game in the series for a reason.

Some of them are outright annoying, boring, and gimmicky with shit like stealth and dodging radars/canyon walls/tornadoes/lightning/etc. I do think the story has some of the highest highs in the franchise though. Trigger is probably the coolest protagonist. But the story also wasted a lot of opportunities and took a direction that was underwhelming. It should have been entirely about the 444 penalty squadron imo.

The problem with AC7 is that when you know it's basically three separate games mashed up it really dampers the experience. The penal stuff is good. The DLC is peak AC. It's everything else that kinda gets a mixed view
