due to the political messaging made within the game concerning APAC funding false flags from terrorist groups against the UCA in order to justify the need to strip away the world's autonomy under the guise of protecting humanity. it was so overt it was a laugh out loud moment in the story.

this was such a brilliant moment from kojima, so were the kaiju fighting and the guitar battle. only hideo kojima could pull these moments off without making them seem like an embarrassing joke.
