I think it would've revived the series and we would be getting a new Kojima Silent Hill every two years and he would've likely gotten a Hollywood directing gig off of it.

Yeah you would had to have played the original demo on to understand though. The PC version is a choppy clone that fucks up the stalking behavior.

The best example you can give is that it would be like Phasmaphobia which was a big hit. The ghost and the environment are controlled separately and react to the player. The ghost is constantly in game but out of players view. Environmental morphing is a Silent Hill staple and the slow process would be very interesting with just the more basic task such as retrieving an item in an old section.
