That doesn't mean you purposefully have to draw like shit, put some effort into making things look the way they are supposed to look.Instead of redirecting you to Loomis, I'll give you the TL:DR of that book: Learn about construction lines. That's the skeleton of any drawing, once you can construct poses you can apply them to any proportions from chibi to realistic humans. Also learn how to draw from your elbow, that can be read on detail on the first lesson of drawabox. Do yourself a favor and don't keep reading past that, it will kill your love for art
