>>748944248Actually saw this in real life, super depressing.Basically I was paid to house sit pets for a friend of one of my family members. Her son had passed away(unexplained, probably vaxx) and he was pseudo-neet gamer with an impressive battle station in his basement room. I got bored and recalled that he had Bloodborne and having hadn't played the game, figured I'd rush through it for the week. They didn't tell me the basement was off limits, but I should have known better, the place was basically untouched in a shrine-like fashion like all those media depictions of parents that basically don't touch shit in their dead child's room forever.Still, I looked around figuring I could probably set the Playstation up and return everything to its place to make it look undisturbed. I couldn't find it though and was getting a bit creeped out by what I was doing, but I couldn't help to check and see if his PC was still on.It was, probably had been in sleep mode for nearly half a year. And there, on his steam with all chat boxes still open, were a gazillion messages with friends asking where the fuck he was, many well past his time of death.
>>748944248He joined the marines, many such cases.

>>748948721They never found out, and yeah I think it's fair that if you go into a dead mans domain and not even his computer is turned off that it's clear the grieving is too strong for them to do anything down there and you shouldn't be there. I'm pretty sure there was still trash like bottles and soda cans too. I'm sure his bed wasn't cleaned.I got out of there after seeing the steam messages. I didn't know the guy very well but I felt like I was defiling a tomb with my presence.
Some guy on my friends list i'm pretty sure killed himself. Don't even know when the fuck I added them but it always makes me laugh seeing the 'last online' days
>>748945356Fucking awful man. Wonder what his buds thought seeing he was "online" during that instance.

>>748944248During prime COVID lockdown I'd play Comedy Night and listen in on the prank call rooms every night. This one regular who friended me would call into suicide hotlines, police departments, abortion centers, etc like it was nothing daily. Eventually he stopped joining and his Steam profile hasn't been online since then, always wondered what happened.
There was the last time you disconnected from your clan server and didn't even know you would never come back.
