This is probably one of the biggest boons of AI. Also there aren't really 'jobs' for translating old games. Most people who do that are doing so because they are passionate about the art, so I think many of them will touch up AI translated stuff if they care to. The quality with many of these will surely be shit and would benefit from an actual translator making sure there aren't glaring errors, but it's better than no translation at all. Only thing I have against it is that some things are better off gatekept, but there isn't really much you can do about that.
