The problem is that Toussaint is already supposed to be significantly more colorful and bright than the rest of the game. So when you make the *entire game* colorful and bright, it turns Toussaint into a bad Disney movie. It feels like we say this every CDPR launch but the fact that they thought this was an acceptable state to release the remaster in is shocking.

You want max-res on the characters and items (guns, books, shit you pick up) but the backgrounds and scenery need to be less detailed. When everything is broadcasting shadows, glares, etc, it's really distracting from the actual *game* aspect of things. Focus needs to be on the important things and backgrounds shouldn't be drawing your eye away from those.
