you don't literally see stuff when you close your eyes. you daydream and direct your attention to those images but you don't actually see them like you would something in real life. the only exception is right before you fall asleep when sounds, voices, images are incredibly vivid.

Usually I can rotate apple in any direction, but it's in black and white. But when I'm about to fall asleep, my thought processes kick up and I can imagine anthro girls vividly.
