Why was Pat praising the Resident Evil movie so much, it was garbage. MCU style quips every 30 seconds, annoying protagonist, the unfunny Looney Tunes lab scenes at the end. It was trying to be ridiculous and funny but didn't include any over the top action choreography that would be in Resident Evil games. I guess the little girl jumpscare was kinda alright but her monster face during it was just a 1:1 ripoff of TLOU monsters and wasn't scary. The limbs coming out the door was a good scene but then it's just the pile of bodies enemy like in Castlevania/Dark Souls and that human glob from Inside.
