My only problem with this canto was that the Chaplain fight was wayyy too longI understand it fits narratively but no one wants to sit there and watch these skills play out on repeat for 531 hoursBuffet was hard but I powered through, then again I understand why people are upset, paypigs like me that buy the pass, get every EGO and ID have everything we need to overcome and move on, free to play fags are way more limited in that regard so they usually struggle a lot more
>>748969034Honestly, I'm just tired of long battles with the permanent danger of getting 5%'d.I went the whole ass fight perfectly only for Capote to roll a tail at 45sp during the LAST coin of Chaplain's big rape AoE, instant 2500+ damage and my whole party wiped out.

>beat every fight in part 3>want to see if I just got lucky>go to replay part 3>the bosses drop OP buff items which are carried over>the only way to redo chaplain or pwie is to redo the entirety of canto 10welpI really wanted to try bloodfiends vs Pwie and see if their self heal and all of the bleed would make it possible.
>>748969343exact same thing happened to me. huge rape AoE after stacking memory 5 times, capote rolls tails and kills everyone except meursault. second chance and capote rolls tails again. Would you like to spend premium currency to not have to redo the last hour long fight?Ruina had a lot of those hour long fights where you could mess up and have to redo the whole thing from the top, but at least the deckbuilding in that one gives you the impression that you have some agency over whether or not you get fucked. maybe on some level it fits the theme of meursault's chapter but it's also just really annoying
>>748969343>I went the whole ass fight perfectly only for Capote to roll a tail at 45sp during the LAST coin of Chaplain's big rape AoE, instant 2500+ damage and my whole party wiped out.Same but for me that happened 3 THREE 3 FUCKING TIMES.I genuinely thought it was bugged or some shit. I went through my entire team + backups in 3 turns due to it.

>>748969738>but at least the deckbuilding in that one gives you the impression that you have some agency over whether or not you get fuckedNot only that, but passives also help you a lot with creating precautions in case you get bad rolls, here you're just fucked.Team wide AoEs used to be somewhat rare but now almost every relevant boss has multiple red coin 7+ weight AoEs every 3-4 turns.

>>748970027>Meursault is the same autistic fucksActually he is willing to express himself now >Dante did literally nothing.Yes, like everyone else in LimBus. One of the notions is nobody in the team will ever truly understand Meursault, but both parties (at least Dante) kinda want to try doing that again and again. But Dante is an insecure loser, while Meursault is autistic chad who is simply ok being around us for he enjoys the struggle. How absurd.

>>748971624I remember pre-nerf Lei Heng one-shotting my entire team in one turn and having to use back-up sinners to finish him. I actually really like back-up system when something go wrong but it sucks when you get 5% more than twice.

Its hilarious that Chaplain, the only man in a position of leadership, is holding the entire system together while all the women are conspiring to destroy it for their own gain/mental retardation. Its so funny it has to be intentional commentary.
>>748969034The difficulty isn't what's stopping people, it's how long it takes. The game UI is horrible, you need to keep track of debuffs but the battle screen is so cluttered that you need to click on your characters to check (time consuming). The game wants you to read a manual for each boss to know what their passives and skills do (again, time consuming), instead of having gameplay mechanics that teach you (almost all the statuses in this game do the same shit but have different names/icons, there's no reason to have dozens of different 'charge' statuses). No speed up option or an option to skip animations, no option to fast track turns and provide a summary of what happened during it, etc.You can't even see what mechanics are happening during combat because of how the camera moves around so much, you have statuses being applied but you can't even read them because some fancy animation is happening.I could go on but whatever, none of this will change.
>>748969034>>748969198The boss rush was insanely bloated. I don't mind Chaplain having fifty million phases because the whole point of that fight was that it lasted forever but it really could have used a breather between that and the warden. I did it in one shot so I don't know if it saves between phases but if it doesn't then that would be miserable.
>>748973914>You can't even see what mechanics are happening during combat because of how the camera moves around so much, you have statuses being applied but you can't even read them because some fancy animation is happening. You can pause mid combat to read stuff, just hit space.
>>748973583But Molar Office wasn't good enough...?
>>748973914essentiallyi just auto, spend 15 seconds fixing clashes, and then look away from the screen for a minute and hope that's long enough
I have probably spent at least 12 hours on that obnoxious pwie fight, losing to La Castration or La Demande spam every single fucking time no matter what team I bring to it.
>>748974251Spidershu is the goat for that fight. Grand Tri helps you nuke the adds, 4th match flame will always win the clash no matter what and the fact that she can shut any damage she takes to the other HoS units means she's going to last the entire fight. Doubly so because she will always guarantees herself an extra turn by persisting at 1hp. Plus she's got a good dodge so you can avoid proccing bleed and reduce overall damage.Since you can't actually kill Pwie until you get all 5 memories and he stops fighting back you actually have no reason to kill off the HoS asap so just keep them around as healthbags for her.
For some reason it feels like there's not a lot of characters to make Ids of and the season will be short?
People complaining about long battles need to understand there is no content in part 3 whatsoever aside 3 battles and Sisyphus rock pushing simulator. So yeah, those fights are purposely long
>>748974603I can think of 5 or 6 off the top of my head they could still use>Pwie>Maurice>Jeanne>Maman>Kroomer>Rouge Brand Manager/mooks
I don't understand why i keep getting bombarded with people smugly saying that i don't read..These people pretend that they don't understand what the issue with the bosses is just because they finished it. I finished it as well and i dread telling people to experience the fights because i know that its just luck based. You have no way of knowing how much damage you actually deal, the dominating/favored/neutral system doesn't update in real time making you take decisions based on something not real which leads to situations where you setup a sinner to clash with a powerful skill and the chip damage actually staggers your sinner making you eat dirt. It doesn't matter how good you read the skills in the pwie fight if the guy clashing the memory skill gets staggered before even being able to clash. The warden fight is not exhausting because its "le hard" but because the first time you are doing it you are dreading retrying it will i have to do this from the very beginning?. Twice my stillness sinners were staggered for various reasons. Reading does not do anything for me at that stage, stop pretending like that isn't an issue. Also every time some shitters are claiming "don't worry the last fight is scripted/its easy" i tense up because i know they just did it once, lucked out and felt like anybody else winrates. The Jeane fight is absolutely horrible with the minus coin thing, it can actually go bad very fast, not the first time i have found out that scripted fights are not actually scripted and i keep winning them by a thread's length. I admit that i learned a lot the past couple of cantos, like clashing the slower skills last or shit like that but man the community is getting worse and worse the more time passes. I feel like it started with Lei where the fight was a luckfest that the bdsm enjoyers lucked out in and deluded themself into thinking that people who didn't defeat him are somehow only winraters.
>>748974684Why the fuck do we always have to deal with 3 parters anyway? Is a Canto not allowed to have just 2 parts if it has to? Is it not allowed to go up to 4 or 5 in case it's supposed to be longer?Seems like a weird thing to still have in place

I was just watching in awe while some smug bastard was bragging about how easy it was for him. I defeated the warden with HOS Ryoshu at 1 hp and 40 shield after a big nuke.It deleted the team with 1800 damage and i ended it with Meur at 1, Ryoshu at 1 and 40 shield and a Gregorheim. For Pwie i had to use a continue for the first time in this game because when i was supposed to get the 4th memory my Faust got staggered before clashing with the memory skill...she went from 3 quarters to stagger somehow and she wasn't even targeted directly. Which meant that the 4th memory was later and everybody died. >>748975218This doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what team you use, i am taking about systems here not specific teams. >>748976037It was done several months ago except for the voice actor scheduling issues they've had several times before now
>>748975804This is the big thing that needs to get changedIt's very possible to just get fucked by an unbreakable aoe giving nails to a different target triggering the extra attack and staggering before you have a chance to do the memory clashEither the extra attack needs to be a lot weaker, it needs to be easier to cleanse nails, or the fight needs to give out more memory debuffs
>>748976037Development on Canto X didn't get going until halfway through C9 probably. The devs were making shit for C9's intervallos and game modes during its release. More likely Canto X only had a couple months in the oven. Which is pretty crazy given its an entirely new game mode with needed a fuck ton of entirely new assets made and its gameplay system needed to be built from the ground up.
>>748977818Buffet only has one AoE unbreakable skill which can inflict it and its this skill. Otherwise the de'abject skills are all regular coins which you can prevent by winning clashes. Buffet does have an unbreakable clashable counter that is AoE and exists to eat de'abject on sinners which you want to be triggering as often as possible.
>>748978039wait fuck Im retarded and didnt scroll down enough. These skills DO have unbreakables + AoE + de'abject infliction. BUT these skills only become unbreakable if you dont have bleed. The intended gameplay is to have sinners with bleed clash them to prevent the unbreakable AoE infliction.I wonder how much people struggled because of assist attacks clearing bleed on sinners before they could clash with these skills.
>>748978223I blew a continue on the last turn of the fight because I only had 1 guy with bleed who could clash with those, shit sucked
>>748978223I lost once (nearly twice) because of my retards assist attacking into the clashable counter, failing the clash because assist skills don't roll that high and getting the team nuked twice because one of my other retards got staggered by the counter.

>>748978362It's great how having control of your own units in Focused Encounters solves this issue.
>>748978223My first attempt against Buffet in Part 3 went down the drain because I had Aroma Ryoshu in the initial team, and she kept doing unopposed attacks against mobs, which built shitloads of bleed on her.
So how would you rate the canto?Personally, I think the writing and music were great as usual, and while I personally loved the little run around sections I know some hated them. I think they still need to work on their combat, but it's becoming increasingly clear that they've kind of hit a wall in terms of how much they can stretch Ruina's design while also keeping it gacha. Maybe they need some new combat devs working with them. Some fresh blood to give a new perspective. I'd give it 8/10, hoping the intravello will bump it up in post to a 9 like with Ryoshu's.

>>748984768Don't be a gacha secondary, go play lobcorp... Or at least Ruina.
>>748984768Go play the previous two games
>>748984768You should at least play Library of Ruina first.Preferably Lobotomy Corporation too, but I realize that's a bigger ask, since the gameplay is very different from Limbus and Ruina, and can actually serious slog if you're going for true ending.Anyway, what makes Limbus special compared to other live service games? The story moves forward properly, characters develop, and sometimes die. It actually feels like a proper story. And since there's consistent main cast of characters, you slowly get to know them through everything that happens. The game also contextualizes all the mechanics very well. You don't actually get entirely new characters for your team, instead you can layer versions of them from different dimensions on the main cast during combat. Let's say for example that you met some really cool guy during the story... but they ended up being a boss, and you killed them. Well, in some mirror reality somebody else might have ended in that role, and you can use them instead. So there's no asspulls of cool characters being brought back so that they could be playable, or weird shit where dead person is on your team. Also, Limbus archives all the events, and they are all relevant to main story. Only exception has been collab event with Arknights.
Since RPGM canto has ended, give each sinner crossover EGO with any RPGM game.Bonus points if no repeats
The friend system is kinda fucking useless if you pay for the pass and always have enough boxes and lunacy to get what you wantIt'd be cool if you got a slight reward from someone using your identity or something, maybe they should add an incentive to have people use the support system more

>>748969343>>748971624I finished Chaplain with only four sinners left after two unfortunate moments at the Warden phase and in the middle phase. I got extra skill slots to compensate and one Sinner having evade meant I could have Meursault and the other tank anything I had trouble clashing. If anything, having less Sinners meant a better chance for Meursault to get targeted since I didn't have an aggro ID on him.Still beat every boss first try this Canto.I think only Chaplain needs some sort of checkpoint because it's absurdly long.

>>748981613I liked it a lot, being able to wander around felt really great and opened up a lot of room to explore little sinner convos and worldbuilding that would otherwise have been skipped. It's a little rough around the edges, and the rpgmaker combat is kind of a joke, but it's a good proof of concept. I would definitely not be opposed to getting more of this kind of gameplay in smaller doses. Maybe make the dungeon for each Canto explorable in RPGmaker mode instead of the Mirror Dungeon style chart?Plot was a bit wheelspinny but I liked hanging out with Pwie and Part 3 was kino as usual. I think the basic Limbus Company battle system is stretched to its near limits though, and I really don't have a good solution for it. Still, it's holding up for now. Overall I give the canto an 8.5/10 or so.

Funny that Kromer is probably worse than Kromer because Kromer could see mirror worlds/future, because if Kromer could actually see the future, she would've pressed that incineration button herself long time ago. So I'm guessing whoever's in charge of N Corp don't trust Kromer enough to fill her in on the Plan

I digged the vibes at the end.Dunno why director felt like he had to go for goreslop AGAIN for 90% of the canto when the entire meursault character seemed like it was pointing toward something very immaculate and monochromatic.
>>749022621I don't know why either, it worked out as expected here

>>748981613X > VI = VII >> V > VIII > IV >= IX >> III = I >> II
>>748981613Directors vagueposting fetish aside, this was one of my favorites when it comes to the theme and writing. I like to try adapting and interpreting what the sinners are going through to and drawing parallels to my own life and unlike with Hong/Ryoshu I could very well do that here. The direction they took Meursault was quite good. Gameplay was fine to, I like rpgmaker and would be interested in seeing more alternate game modes like this (if they ever do them the cantos will be delayed another year, each). While I don't pop at the mili song like I used to, this one was also one of the better ones. There is no redeeming the gameplay, however. The coin system either needs an entire rework (which they can't really do) or they need to speed up turns like so many people have pointed out already. The way they try to force you to do boss gimmick with shit like pic related feels awful, I would get if it was using bleed vs bleed boss, but it being all status just feels cheap. Then there is also the ever lingering chance to get 5%'d. Combining stagger with hp was a mistake, and at this point so is SP, Charge and Poise as dedicated archetypes. Oh and Jannu's distortion wasn't built up properly, too back loaded.
>>749022684It's not fair that the chinese canto had all the chinese lore but the french one got the meat factory instead. Kim already stole our intervallo by making it all about him.

But I still liked them.>>749022973I still appreciate what they went for. City is a messed up place, and we did get good amount of quiet, contemplative scenes with Meursault alone.>>748981613I liked it. The RPG Maker exploration resulting in Sinner dialog was great, the story within Canto was interesting, and I appreciate it that in the end setting progressed in actually impactful way. Felt like it was about time for something big to happen. It wasn't all good, though. The action combat in RPG Maker segments was total nonsense, and the maps were pretty ugly for the most part.
>>749023510Meant alternative* gameplay was fine. "Regular" is ass.
>>749023565Does anyone seriously think that? I thought it was one of the better ones.
>>748981613It was unironically so fucking good.A gachaslop should not make me feel and think so many things. It incorporated really well all the themes into the metaludo experience. So the player could feel the emotions related to the themes while playing itself. I punched the boulder.Canto 9 was fiction slop. Reminded me of Marvel. Like I was supposed to basedface when I got a reference. This one instead was fictionGEM.
>>749023510I thought not a single interesting word was said throughout the whole canto by any of our sinners. The story only picked up when we reached the rooftops but everything else, including the prologue, had every character doing their worst impression of themselves and not much else.Even world building wise we got nothing.
>>749023510>>749023594This would all be fixed with a simple >skip gameplayButton.

Nor doing for one (uno) thing. And the way the story bends over backwards trying to create stakes with forces that don't do anything and the heishous are controlled is awful.
>>749022973Honestly yeah the GMS felt too much like a mix of the Ring and Love Town, I hope they get more original ideas for portraying stuff like this that isn't just gore gore gore
>>749023612It was barely about Hong Lu. I feel like his arc finished or could have on part 2 and the finale was more about Xichun than anything. Qiu was the perfect foil or wall for Hong to overcome, and the Mili song should have hit there and have him better express his will and emotions in the final fight.>>749023785You're right, but I was running out of characters and didn't gave early parts of the canto much thought. In my head it was all just so we could get to the simulation already, and not understanding anything about it was sort of the intent so they could point it out to us later how much we got used to it all etc, which was kinda lame but whatever. World building we got a decent amount though, we can't fully expect to always learn the entire ins and outs of each wing but we still learned about N-Corp.

>>748994480Jeanne is a hot, autistic, lusty woman that works as a programmer-warden-admin in a virtual prison for death row inmates. You may argue about the morality of the whole system but she is just a cog in it(a very important one, but just a cog). Without it the system falls and N corp goes back to a being bunch of protheses nazis picking people brains for brain juice.Catherine is a monster that lulls and drags people into the basement of her mansion to kill them for experiments. Her motivations and actions are completely inhuman.
>>748969034I had a pretty clean run against the Chaplain and it still took me about 2 hours including cutscenes. I'm gonna wait until next weekend to fight Pwie once the nerfs are out. >>749024176Feels a bit meaningless when the of a game comes from the challenge. Particularly when you're willingly depriving yourself of a shared experience with a community you're currently engaging with.

>>749024428That's entirely coming from the devs and they way they're used to developing the game at this point, as well at what they've decided is enough content for a week so that everyone is moving through the story at the same pace. This canto is the first that is clearly structured in 3 separate parts.Releasing it it parts gives them time to iron out the issues at the last minute, but it would have 2 or 5 parts and people wouldn't really find anything to say about the format. >>749024407Outside of art, the community has been genuinely ass to interact with. I guess this is just the norm nowadays. I'll be honest, halfway through the Priest fight I stopped giving a shit and just winrate'd my way through despite the damage it would do to me. I didn't even need to care in the end. I thought it was going to be a forced loss anyway with how he kept resetting his HP bar to full, so I was pretty surprised that the past twenty minutes of clashing actually meant something. Granted, I was doing this at maybe 3 AM the night part 3 released so maybe sleep-deprivation played into my uncaring demeanor. Anyway, the moment I saw Pwie's unbreakable coins that inflict Bleed I knew I shouldn't even attempt to care, and didn't even lose despite winrate and EGO spamming. Apparently he just lets you kill him if the fight drags on too long but I didn't even get to that.I could not stop laughing at the boulder segment and got pissed off that I couldn't read Hokma's rune. People had trouble with this bit? You just hold down space and the ball won't fly off unless you allow it to get hit by an obstacle. This is like when people get mad at the wolfos in OOT, you just hold back when the fucker attacks and hit their tail! I also could not stop laughing at Jeanne's full name. El Director does it again!>>749026467The big problem with Limbus's fanbase is that Limbus is a free to play game, unlike LC or Ruina which cost money up-front. The reason why this is a problem is because free games attract children like flies on honey. If a game is like, $5, you won't see a child majority fanbase except for outliers like FNAF or DoltaGoon (trying not to get thread wiped). I see so many trans/lesbian flag icon kids on Twitter, and I know they're kids because they talk like children. Hell, even the 18-23 year olds talk like they're still fourteen, and I'm not much older than that demographic so it feels weird seeing a generational divide like that. I feel like I can't discuss fucking anything unless the person I'm talking to is 25 or older.
>>749026467>find any challenge in the game to be due to bad luck rather than making any kind of mistake. That's how it got to be in endgame Ruina, too. >>749026849Shut up
>>749027041The biggest problem isn't even that but the readability when your screen looks like this. They really need to trim down and color code what's important and what isn't, what is a unique ID mechanic and what is a unique boss debuff, what's a regular status and what is another of the same status but a different name and so on.They also should make the text smaller everywhere so it can all fit on screen instead of having to scroll down 10 pages of mechanics that cross reference eachother but only 2 lines can fit on screen.

>>749028884>>749028914I already read this image, I meant that pic rel was tl;dr of this post kekBut yeah I agree, generally it should be about minimising RNG as much as possible so it won't fuck you up suddenly(the most popular example I can think of rn would be Slay the Spire with what cards you can get and what cards you are picking to not end with useless card in your deck). I would understand people complaining about it in Limbus IF we wouldn't have back-up system which is supposed to keep you going if you get fucked by RNG anyway. I got fucked up by assist attacks while fighting Pwie a little, ate a few of that skill for having 5+ of that one debuff and still managed to beat him first try, just don't clash the skill you need to clash with someone who is close to staggering(also I think I lost against that skill once). The only problems I have with combat in Limbus is how sometimes things can snowball really fast and I wish stagger would work similarly to LoR instead of being tied to HP.
>>749028914i stopped reading long ago because i realized that the only fights worth reading for are the ones i can't winrate my way through. In the years I've played this game, the only time I felt I needed to read something in the main storyline was the fight with Gregor de Cockenkingen. Don Quixote el Padre? Didn't read. Lei Heng? Didn't read. Hong Lu's granny? Didn't read. The Nursefathers? Didn't read. Noir manager, Priest, Buffet, Four-Legs de EGO, Jeanne? No idea what any of them do, but I noticed the Priest put some nails on the chalkboard. RR and Reflectrials actually require me to read if I want the media literacy rewards, and the game is quite fun when I have to learn and fight a boss.
>>749029461That's the only thing i can think of, he's been in the sisyphe system for a long time but he didn't even being there for more than a few hours
>>749028914The game does a poor job at teaching damage mitigation. Up until Canto 7 or something every damage you take comes from a mistake you made.
>>749029656Because they changed the fight design/philosophy somewhere around that time period. They introduced unbreakables and added back-up system which happened around RR4 iirc.
>new Rodya's skill 1 can target alliesDuality is huge for future IDs and EGOs
>>749024407>>749024498>>749025131Ever since video games went from arcade to console the community aspect has gotten worse and worse, especially with narrative focused games, like, just merely talking about your experience may ruin it for others, whether it be the gameplay (community finds a braindead strategy that dogwalks everything, making the game unengaging) or story (getting spoiled on something or having a popular theory being true, killing the surprise). Also, I noticed that a lot of these narrative focused, easy to beat games (Persona, FF, UTDR, Limbus etc...) have horrible communities and I think it's because good gameplay is a natural filter that, when ignored for accessibility, brings in a lot of children and retards, it also gets rid of the sense of shared struggle against a difficult part. What this means is that this game needs to become co-op, then remove the gacha entirely and make it so the only way to get an ID is through grinding non-stop, now anyone who has a life outside of this game will have to find a bunch of NEET friends that can offer the ID they need and are willing to actually use it properly, plus if you die once you gotta start the canto all over again. Just kidding. Or am I?
>>749028914Limbus is not the kind of game that has a great amount of player expression, compared to Ruina there's no deck building and each individual character has fewer options at a time for what moves you can do. There is a team building aspect but that's also limited by gacha RNG. Sanity was added which has limited interactions and functionally works like an additional snowball+RNG version that gets thrown on top of the regular clash RNG. Durante is a good idea but is hamstrung by Gacha energy limitations. By restricting the player's agency luck becomes a lot more important, and it's usually telling that the number 1 solution to most people's problems when they're stuck is to more carefully read abilities. Turns out most fights are mechanically insanely trivial and require no real player expression or skill, you just need to have all the information and not get unlucky.
>>749028854Her boobs were never that big, that's why Ayin gave Angela massive tetas.
This game needs more options of defense and heal. It seems recent don id is to handle that? I didn't shard it yet so idk. And 95% chance to roll heads on sp 45 is not good. There's no meaning of coin flip system. It should be 80% at most.
The coin system has fucked this game from the start. The gameplay has suffered from day 1 due to coins and sanity.
>>749031274Maybe now that Carmen doesn't even have a body anymore, willed some large tits into her "avatar" so to speak? After all, she's all about how the body has to reflect the inner self, and what if her inner self wants some big bazonkers? Food for thought.
One of the good parts of canto 10 is integrating exp level into the gameplay. I think it would be more fun if I can decide which character to raise their level. And it's better it can include id level.
>>749031514Yeah, I hope they make a way to make level irreleavnt for cantos, I really enjoyed using these IDs forever stuck at level 1
>>749031514That's good but it makes me question why even have levels in the first place, and why even increase the level cap.For the first time it feels completely artificial.

>>749028914>you rarely "instantly" lose from one failed clashexcept all recent boss fights since Papa Don have at least one "win or die" skill
>>748970743This entire Canto felt like a redux of Xiao's story, and I welcome that
>>749032608Since el padre bosses have been getting>Increased red coins>Increased frequency win or rape attacks>Increased rape anyways if you winAnd even then losing one of the big rape was recoverable, but today if you lose that clash everybody is gone, i've lost one of those to the chaplain and took a combined amount of 3000 damage, enough to kill my whole party almost twice over.
>>749032972You have 12 sinners.
Taking deaths is pretty much inevitable in phase 2 but you only need 2 more memories to win so it isn't so bad.
>>749033046Not all sinner ID's are made equal.
>>749028914>it's 'shit' and 'pure luck' because they put themselves in a situation where they roll that 5% 20 times in a fight instead of minimising them to the bare minimum.Hitting Buffet with sinners that have "with Pwei" buff literally lowers his SP and that's part of how you secure winning clashes. There's also like five different EGOs that lower attack the same turn AND next turn and EGOs that lower offense level by a lot, so there's plenty of things you can do to make the fight easier
>>749033198In anon's defense sinner will have used up all their "with Pwei" during the first phase. Weirdly enough having everyone get wiped going into phase 2 so everyone gets a fresh stock of "with Pwei" to tank its SP might make the fight easier.
>>748970743>The ID tagkek

>>749033350I enjoyed itDo I want more RPG Maker? No. But for a canto it was a nice gimmick, made it feel fresh instead of just cutsceneslop into bossfight forever
>>749021367I assumed it was Mirror of AdjustmentMakes way more sense thematically as the entire point was that they'd infected each other with twisted thoughtsWhen Sinclair asks for the key back she's confused because she considered the thing that made her obsessed with Sinclair the key that he'd given her, which doesn't really make sense to me if it was just knowledge of the facility she already was aware of
>>749034140To be honest I keep wondering if I would enjoy bigger version of that mode as bonus or if it would be to much.

>>749037197You can't go wrong with dies irae, timeless kino.
Nuclear level hot take: Buffet is one of the best bossfights in terms of mechanics so far*I put an asterisk because the only flaw I can see with the fight is the slim chance of le 5% meme on key clashes. Other than that I think it does a lot of things right.>bleed on sinners is actually something you want because it turns off unbreakables>those unbreakables on no bleed = de'art = punishing big hit>minions phase to shake up the usual formula>juggling who has "with pwie" to reduce AoE on certain skills and to reduce SP/clash powerThe fight is just slightly overtuned and could be easily brought in line to make it more fair to the player with regards to RNG. Some way of giving alive sinners "with pwie" buff back instead of needing sinners to die to get new sinners with it in, or have "with pwie" buff bump heads hit chance to 100%.

does the grand magasin pause when the giants clock out and go to bed, or was maurice stuck in the office for 3 months straight?
>>749045605I assume its like an MMO server where the Limbus crew was in a separate instance from the GSM which could be paused so he could clock out. This theory has evidence as the Rouges won when the Noir had their god disappear for 3 months.
>>749045707>where the Limbus crew was in a separate instance from the GSM which could be pausedIf this is the case why the hell did he clock in right back to dealing with the normal GMS before retreating back to deal with the Limbus crew? Is he stupid?
>>749045819Probably could have liquidated the overall GSM and it didn't fall below quota while he was fighting. He only stops fighting when the GSM degrades so much that he can't ignore it.
One thing I glossed over, was the blue crew actually defending during those 3 months or were they just chilling out?

>>749046008>Lobotomy Corp froze all abnormalities when it was time to clock outThat was by putting the Qliphoth Deterrence so high they got knocked out. In the case of the GMS it's basically a simulation so they can just do that.

>>749049614Wasn't "Cinema Sysiphe" constantly displayed at the top of the screen in the symbolic and symbolic cutscenes? >inb4 new EGO gifts for MD are items from GMS
I wonder how long it took them to put 300 million people into the Sisyphe SystemThere are 6.5 billion people in the City, so around 250 million people per district (wait what lol). If every year 0.01% (25 thousand people) of the District gets sent to the Tower (very harsh punishment, plus not everyone does crime), it would take 12 thousand years to reach the number 300 million. I doubt N Corp. is that old, so the conviction rates are probably higher, but still, 300 million people is like 4.5% of the total City population
>>749050834They said that they were very liberal with the eternal punishment, and they used to just go and raid the shit out of the backstreetsEven then, it's at least a 1000~ year endeavour that went up in smoke.
>>749050834Yeah I don't know what's up with that, I think director always just pulls random numbers and stuff out of his ass for shock value
>>749050834They've probably made deals with all other wings to get their criminals sent over there over hundreds of yearsalso no doubt they just kidnap rats & whatnot
>>749050834Also at the rate of 25 thousand people per year, they'd have to convince like 35 people a day, which doesn't seem plausible with all the courtroom bureaucracy
>>749049409I don't think I do, sorry
>>749050834I was thinking about that recently. N Corp must be old as hell if the 300 million and blackthread are anything to go off of. Given that the city is in year 985, they would have to be doing roughly 300,000 people per year to reach that. But then if you consider Kromer saying that they were canning experience with the nails rather than the sisyphene system "in the good old days", then they had even less time to fill up the prison. It just doesn't make sense if you think about it. Especially if you consider the size of a building you'd need to actually house 300 million vats.
>>749050834GMS is very old, since it had different ears and shit like Age Of Aquarium and what not. And they were starting to put whoever they could only after Maman was dead, since people weren't reviving anymore. I guess Sysiphe as a space were there even before N Corp
>>749051167>which doesn't seem plausible with all the courtroom bureaucracyAn omega high profile case like meur got solved in a few hours, they have like almost no bureaucracy

>>749051765He sure ain't older than aquarium black fish thing
>>749051970no they took way too long
>>749050119Exactly, it makes sense with Cinema Sisyphe being the way Meursault interprets the space, it taking over the Sisyphe system, and the ID stories taking place in the age of the Cinema
>>749052220Aquarium was right before the Grand Magasin, no? Dubois is at least from the Plaza era, which is before Gas Station and something else which I forgot
>>749050834I assume since the sisyphe sentence is N Corp's equivalent of the death penalty, its victims are not counted towards the population total. They're also immortal within the system, so the number can only go up.

It feels like every other sinner gets more mischaracterisation in this than him.At least the infinite IKEA is dead now so the devs will have to actually explore the rest of the nest instead of keeping us stuck there for even longer. Wow we're so crazy and creepy we cut up people to make clothes isn't that edgy?? This entire canto feels like some shit a secondary made.

So there really is no way for the higher ups to punish the way Heinrich Kromer does things? From how menacing N Corp was with their Taboo Hunters, I thought they would notice Kromer stabbing Maurice at the tower and then just finishing the job afterwords by carrying his head around. They do know when someone is watching recorded stuff in their district after all.
