All told, the entire Remake trilogy will take about 300 hours, or literally 10x as long to complete as the original, and you need to buy multiple games where no save progress is carried over between games.Just play the original. If you LOVE the original so much that all you want to do is spend more time with the characters, even if the characters are bastardized versions of themselves, and even if all you're doing is checklist choreslop, then that's when you play the Remakes.
