Do you prefer tank classes that rely only on their martial abilities, or the ones who incorporate faith in their determination?
I like my tanks heavy, either fat or muscular and their standing still skills are exceptionalBut I could make an exception for a flat small tank
Faith-based characters usually interest me. It gives room for "sudden powerup when they need it" or the more rare "doesn't get the powerup when they need it and have to make due without"

As a sword and shield fanatic I GREATLY prefer my tanks or frontline warriors to have no divine magic casting abilities whatsoever. I like fighters who survive from their strengths, skills, equipment, and wits. Maybe they learned some magic tricks along the way depending on the setting, maybe they have a holy sword like the master sword, but I don't want them to be channeling god's power to win or anything like that. No paladins.

Since it's much cheaper to get a temporary license than a permanent one that's the usual reason for this kind of thing.

Having pair up attacks the require 2 characters in a certain formation is another nice thing that effects the way you party build. But overall nothing too interesting or unique about the game. I never did finish it but apparently when you beat the game you get thrown into ng+ that spawns special difficult enemies and you only get to carry over any cursed equipment you have. Beating ng+ gets you the true ending. which is kind of a bold move for a game where you're one bad dungeon run from snowballing into a game over and losing your save.Necro is the cutest class. I saw some pretty retarded takes on the class balance like people saying necro and paladin were bad when they were both pretty amazing.
