should i play this? (pirate)
No don't bother.
>>748979939why?
it alright
>>748979710Game totally drops off in fun and pacing in the mid. Then you just want it to end. And the endings all screw you over so you are hyped for Part 2.Classic case of "money must have run out during development".my speculation only
>>748979710Everything from a visual standpoint is incredible. The setting and the designs of the enemies, weapons, etc. are fucking amazing, its an extremely cool world to look around in. Unfortunately the gameplay itself isnt anything special.
>>748979710No, but maybe if you don't value your time
>>748979710Its not very good when it comes to the combat, there are just outright bad sections like the mandatory ball boss fight, the robots are barely in the game, the story is locked behind multiple DLC one of which changes the gameplay into some weird shit, the new game + is mandatory hard mode with extra bullshit thrown in, the american voice acting/script is fucking terrible and there is nothing to do outside the story except hunt down random voice logs and do shitty challenge areas for upgrades. There is no fast travel either so you have to drive everywhere and cars only spawn at major areas so you get fucked over by that too.If you must play it then play on easy and use the russian VA with subtitles. It looks cool though and the robots are hot.
>>748982290So it's Russian far cry?
>>748979710yeah its worth piratingthe base game goes to shit as soon as it goes open world, the DLC's are far better
>>748982540plus some russian bioshock, literally does the big undersea area thing with a lighthouse
>>748979710It's pretty good, especially for a studio's first game. The DLCs are somewhat weak because they are separate campaigns, so they just give you the featured new weapon, a sidearm, a melee weapon, and shower you in heals. Although the second DLC avoids this by being a thematic non-sequitur. People say it's the worst, but I enjoyed the CSGO surfing.
>>748979710I enjoyed it a lot.The gameplay and the soundtrack are great the story is kind of meh.the only problem i have is that some fight are very short. sometimes you are having fun killing robots with a bang song in the back ground you cant fully enjoy because the battle ends too soon.i wish the game just has an endless mode or something like mercenaries mode from Resident Evil games where you can choice the BGM to listen while killing waves of robots.
>>748979710Oh hey, I'm a actually a fan of this game. So basically you play as a Russian operative in an alternate 1960's during the release of "Collective 2.0" (it's basically the internet but through a chip attached to your head.) Everything seems to be going fine until for some reason all of the robots decide to try and kill everyone. You're job is to stop it. Along the way most people you get help from are already dead and are memory echoes that are slowly degrading (Think that one Doctor Who episode with the library). That's the basic premise, there's a lot more to the narrative than what'd you see at first glance, the biggest hurdle I find with people playing the game is everyones immediate hatred for the M.C being a douche bag. I'm spoiling this part otherwise no one gives it a chance. He mellows out becoming nearly the opposite of how he was when you started playing, and there's a reason he's such a flat character related to what's happening in the story (His dumb fucking catchphrase is also explained). Game play wise, it starts out like BioShock, were you need to work your way through a facility, after that point it enters a pseudo open world where you can choose to take on some bonus underground facilities, or drive to the next level. The game has good levels, designs, and VERY good animations, the robots ironically feel very life like giving an uncanny valley due to the contrast in appearance and movement. Okay now the bad, gameplay wise, not much, but the true ending is locked behind 4 dlc episodes. They're good addons but they should have been in the base game. Other than that, neat world, decent shooting, decentplot. It's no 10/10 but a very solid.....7.5, maaaaybe 8.
>>748979710Sure. It'd actually harder than it looks but gets too easy late game. The puzzles will teach you the folly of communism
>>748986458I really liked the polygons, especially the parkour ones.
>>748984497I feel like The CSGO DLC out stayed it's welcome.
>>748986591The puzzles were actually pretty descent and I usually dislike them in games
>>748979710I would not buy it due to the epilogue being behind 4 dlc packs, but if you're not going to buy it, then yeah it's worth your time.
>>748986625I finished the first section not sure how to control it and it only got worse so I skipped the rest. Locking important information about the chracters into that crap was a bad idea.
>>748979710The music and setting are what carries it. Also the sexy robot wife
Pirate it
