I was too stupid for that dlc I'll admit it. I think the original game was pretty well balanced but the rest was ridiculous.
Yes I tried weapon swapping yes I tried jububjub bow yes I tried deep sea ancor. Everything just killed me in one hit. Doesn't even matter if I dodge or guard or whatever. I thought weapon swapping in the main game was really cool and fun but at some point it feels like it's just all raw stats you have to grind
>>748996195The DLC is the only part that has any real balancing at all.Yes it's cringe that you have to do some farming, but even once you're done farming, you still HAVE to pay attention to the battle mechanics. The base game never does that.
The DLC was the dev just making all the RPG stats not matter by making everything scale to your stats and do scaled damage amounts instead so it turned into a puzzle game instead.
>cant get companions in the 2nd gameWhat were they thinking?Shan't be playing
>>748996287>feels like it's just all raw stats you have to grindIt's the opposite, you can max your stats and the DLC will still kick your ass if you don't know what you're doing. It's also possible you got trolled by a certain angel.
>>748998509>have to use a whole action just to summon each companion in each battlecompletely dogshit mechanic, zero reason to use it except for a small handful of bossesalso half of the companions suck
>>748996195You need to be at least 18 to post here, friend. Come back in 4-5 years i guess.
>>748998852KEK reminds me of the kid from that movie "Happiness"
>>748998645Fwiw I did wind up maxing my stats and steamrolled the last two bosses. I got mad because I kept playing the game and none of the scrimblimblos wanted to join me in the last fight. Normally this is fine, as it's intended one will just cycle again, but this is the very end of the game, I'd have to get all the covenants and run through the majority of the gameplay again
>>748999253>I'd have to get all the covenants and run through the majority of the gameplay againtbf the base game stuff takes like 15 minutes to run through once you're that strong
