The more I think about it the more it becomes obvious that everything in Forever was cooked up a week or two before Blizzcon.Having played the beta it just looks completely half baked. The only possible explanation for the Sky Elves is that they had this content lying around already, likely cut content from Dragonflight. Here are some other observations:>no coherent design theme or direction >new dungeons are lazily designed, wetlands dungeon is just a corridor with wetlands mobs and only 3 bosses>new graphics look worse than what modders can do and seem to be just generic industry standard lighting slapped unthinkingly on top of the 2004 graphics, didn't even touch the skybox>devs decided to "alter" the scaling of low level abilities to solve a problem nobody had, now completely ruining everything in the process>new gear is extremely imbalanced and some looks like it came from Retail>couldn't be bothered setting up multiple servers, just put everyone in the same placeIt doesn't even seem like all of the devs are onboard with the idea of classic+ and some of them keep trying to add retail-style content.
Blizzard is doing everything they can to pull in their old fans>Wow forever>Diablo 5>Hots 2>StarCraft 3>table top star craftAnd they're trying to unfuck everything that people hate too, but it's way too late.

Blizzard caught lightning in a bottle and didn't realize it until they made the announcement. They were expecting this to be a gimmicky treat for old fans to eventually convert them to retail which is why it doesn't have a price tag beyond an active sub.
