Which non-OLED TV is the TV of choice for /v/? My current TV is about to die after 10 years of being used as a PC monitor for 8h to 15h a day every single day. This is for this reason I'm dismissing OLED, I'd like to get one but it definitely won't fit my abnormal use case. I'm considering two references (65") : - Snoy Bravia 7 II- TCL C8L (though it seems it has a too strong ABL dimming issue, similar to what OLED does and I want my Google.com homepage to be WHITE and burn my retina)- Hisense UR9SAny other references?Obviously, gaming will also be a focus, but now all TVs are at least 120Hz native (though I guess a 144Hz panel will be better, seems it goes to 165hz nowadays), VRR and all that jazz.
>>749018697>Snoy Bravia 7 IIThat TV is priced higher than an LG G6 or Samsung 95H. You'd have to be a complete idiot to buy it over one of those. Not to mention Sony just sold their TV division to China, so good luck an after-sales support.
Do you have a budget in mind?
>>749018697Panasonic, if you can still find one in stock, but they quit 1-2 years ago so you probably won't.
>>749019014I know, OLED and especially the C line is very competitive in price, though I expect the non-OLED offering to drop sharply in price for Black Friday to stay competitive. Also, again, my use case makes it so I'll have to dismiss OLED, unfortunately.>>749019113I'm in yuroland, let's say ~1500€ when adding offerings, cashbacks and whatever discount code that will pop during Black Friday.I can also go 55" instead of 65" to save some money (my current TV is 55", perfectly happy with the size, but these days on non-OLED, it turns out 65" panels are the best ones while 55" are more often than not crippled versions)
>>749018697TCL C7K for gaming it doesn't use the newer tech so it doesn't suffer high CAD, everything else is fixed by hand default settings are terrible.
>>749018697Anything with a VA panel is dogshit for gamingTry to find a Hisense with an ADS Pro panel
