Arkham Series: what do we think of it
>>749019802Cool game, putting the cool skins behind a paywall on a single player game is too jewish, tho
Best vidya women
>>749019802it was fun until the tank
>>749019802Only 1/3 of each game is good (stealth). With another 1/3 (puzzles) and last 1/3 (action brawler) being braindead bad and a slogIt's still rather basic and utterly wasted. Still, stealth moments are the only places where you get some sort of a gameplay freedom to experiment and tackle enemies in a different way in a small, but open hub like areas. Once they are done it's back to being a boring linear, corridor console movie game. This makes stealth challenges the best part of every game. Unfortunately Bahman is the only actual character. Origins gets the point for making Deathstroke actually fun character to play as with distinct and varied playstyle and actually unique gadgets. Catwoman is fun too with different traversal methods. If you could extract stealth from those games and make different Bahman games which are all immersive sim stealth games with multiple separate hub-like missions (like Dishonored and Thief, yeah), each playable with numerous distinct in gameplay characters it would be fantastic game. Alas that's not the case.Arkham Knight pisses me off in particular since Stealth parts are even further separated by utterly worthless car and tank sections. So now it's only 1/6 of a game that is cool. But it does have a lot of characters (even if they are very basic and simply inferior to bahman) to use in many challenges. And a cool dual character control gimmick which is unfortunately underutilized, most likely due to wasting time on worthless car and tank moments instead
It peaks in the factory level in Arkham City where Harley Quinn is bound and there's a pointless interaction just to remove or re-insert the duct tape over her mouth to abuse her.
>cape game>the boss fights suckWhat causes this? How do you fail on the most basic fantasy: fighting supervillains?
