Do a reversal if you trust, but meterless reversals return to neutral now so they're risky. Mash if you know they're scared of a reversal. Some strings you can always DP, but you'll have to do your homework here.

If you don't know which way you have to block, use Deflect Shield. Works great on Millia's disc, Zato's drills. They're still plus after it, but they have to run at you to take advantage of it, so jumping out and creating space is great here.
If you use Deflect Shield, sometimes people autopilot another normal and you can whiff punish that if you're woke enough.

It’s good but I would say most characters have a skillcap, and that’s when you have to start baiting. I would say in GG every single character is overpowered, and that is how it is balanced. Sol is still the most satisfying character to play. Now is a good time to start because it just had a major rebalance.
