You actually meet the thalmor looking for these sluts in riverwood, saying they were looking for them, and would give big coin for them. But there was no option to sell them out.
>>
so you deliberately download mod about women. then you proceed to complaint that there are women in the mod

Don't torture yourself, only coomers can really through mods like this. We'll just ignore half the shit they're saying and use the dialogue options that tells them what they want to hear so we can eventually get them in bed. And yes, you can sleep with both that woman and Rigmor.

Let's just say that you should keep some leather armor on to protect your back...
>>
>>749034653
i play with quite a number of mods but in a sense this is weirdly true for stuff like combat
no combat overhauls really feel good no matter what way they go, skyrim's face tanking crowded tomb/cave 7v1's can't be overhauled in a satisfying way I'm convinced
have fun with your perk/magic overhauls, don't try and fix the combat itself tho
>>
>>749037393
you can easily fix skyrim combat with only a couple of small-ish tweaks. Basic stuff like adding sensible stagger conditions for certain situations (if I smack an archer in the head with a warhammer, it should cause them to fumble their shot), block cancelling, some visual effects and slightly improved animations to make combat feel more weighty, restricted movement and turning radius while attacking, and maybe a dodge mod.
People think that you can't fix skyrim combat because other people think that you can fix skyrim combat by turning it into a shittier version of dark souls.

So then you lowkenuinely paralyze her and fusrodah her ass off the mountian
>>
>>749035371
>>749034653
this is correct, although I do like to add Ordinator onto this. Base Skyrim perks are just way too neutered, and Ordinator feels like the perfect balance between fun RPG elements that still make sense for Skyrim.
>>
>>749038337
This is how it always goes for me:
>let's replay vanilla Skyrim!
>actually skse and syui is a must
>also combat need a couple of fixes
>also perk kinda need a rework
And then it snowballs into ~300 items modlist that barely works.
>>

Vermintide combat in skyrim. If only.
>>
>>749038152
eh
i get what you mean but the tweaks don't exactly "fix" any of the basic issues of skyrim really wanting you to tank everything and chug and eat 14 cheese wheels
also a lot of animation things have a bad habit of leaving hitboxes somewhat incongruous
that all said, little tweaks do help generally
I've not messed with stagger stuff but I found things like no enemy blocking when they have 0 stamina and Mortal Enemies for reducing enemy tracking (think about how base skyrim creatures are homing missiles with their leaping attacks) help a lot. The restricted movement one is a good addition too
>>749038337
i use adamant now but ordinator was pretty fun but with some very janky options
>>
>>749038683
you can get something relatively close by using a bunch of different mods. Much the same as mods like MCO which are dark souls but shittier, mods can only ever get you to vermintide but shittier, but shittier vermintide is a lot less shitty than shittier dark souls imo. When souls combat is done poorly, it really fucks up everything and makes all combat encounters an absolute slog. Conan exiles is a good example of this. Otherwise great game with great world design and comfy basebuilding mechanics, but the bargain bin souls combat is just so bad that it kind of ruins everything else to a certain extent.

>basic issues of skyrim really wanting you to tank everything and chug and eat 14 cheese wheels
I think just making facetanking not an option is enough to fix this issue. Something as simple as wildcat (with spid uncloak addon for performance reasons) which increases all outgoing and incoming damage multipliers and adds a combat injury system, where you're more likely to suffer a minor and then major injury the longer you stand around and get wailed on, is great for encouraging you to think tactically and focus on positioning and dodging attacks rather than just spamming m1.
>>
>>749030047
The best reddit mod is wardens of the coast because it lets you use sex mods to fuck a girl who thinks she's your sister. I put on that joe dirt "I am your sister! I am your sister scene" in the background for it.

I haven't used wildcat but I have messed around quite a lot with Blade and Blunt (basically the same thing but with damage jumping up a lot when hitting an enemy or being hit during a power attack, drawing an arrow, or casting a spell) and it's one of those things that seems like a good fix on paper but is just kinda annoying to play with, at least for me.
BnB does more stuff like giving everything a stamina use which is a fine enough change for the most part, but the increased damage output going both ways makes 1v1 combat a lot more lethal in a game where you rarely actually go 1v1. It makes even 2v1's a real bitch, and BnB tries to fix the chugging issue by making all potions over time. But enemies in base skyrim already take more hits than you do even with good armor, so you're gonna end up backpedaling for minutes fighting any large group waiting to get one to take a lead, power attack and miss, then hit them with yours and keep backing off. BnB also adds a 5 second stagger immunity to enemies after they get staggered, so if you're wailing on them trying to kill them with your power attacks, they're getting guarenteed hit on you during yours, dissuading you from even trying them outside of the rare poke.
And all this really rewards luring enemies one by one and/or taking them out before they reach you as a horde. It funnels you into the dreaded stealth archer routine.
Mind you, I've been doing a dual wielding thing on this playthrough with it and I think it's accentuating the isssue with it's way too long dual power attack that leaves me open.

I seriously did not know what the mod was, i just saw it added content for the Beyond Skyrim Bruma mod, and i liked Bruma, so i thought whatever and added it. Turns out it's just very onions.
>>
>>749039986
BnB and wildcat are actually pretty different in my experience, despite both being the obligatory simon/enai combat module, because these two autists insist on making the same mods as each other but (usually) slightly different.
BnB is a lot slower due to attack speed slowdown on low stamina. Wildcat is more interested in making combat quicker and more lethal by adding stunlocking and player fullbody stagger (which BnB doesn't), increased damage, and random injuries that can cause staggers, big HP decreases, and in the worst cases, complete ragdolling, which is almost always a death sentence.

Fuck that, I want Half-Sword combat in Skyrim
>>
>>749040413
Interesting
BnB has injuries that just cause various levels of hp decrease that you can sleep off, but you can only get them when getting hurt at below 50% health, which in turns mean you rarely get them as the next hit you below that treshhold will just kill you usually.
Might have to give wildcat a look.
Oh another fun fact about BnB. Simon only recently in August reverted the base difficulty change the mod adds. It used to be it made Adept (the base difficulty) have you do .75 damage and enemies 1.25. He liked that somehow. I imagine his gameplay must be exhausting.

What is the point of light armor unless you are sneaking?
>>
>>749041278
There is no point in vanilla, but some mods serve to make light armor play differently than heavy armor in various ways. Know your enemy 2, for instance, gives out type advantages and disadvantages for various armor keywords. Metal armors resist damage from bladed weapons, but are weak to electricity spells and enchantments. Non-metallic armors (like leather) better resist blunt damage but are weak to bladed damage.

Skyrim's combat is so fucking bad at a technical level nobody can actually fix it, just throw a lot of bullshit on top to disguise it.
It's actually almost the same combat from daggerfall. It's not even hitbox based.

>>749042610
It'd be very nice but bethesda gives mixed signals, like we had ahnassi and pretty kitty in mw but then now marriagable khajiit woman in skyrim?
Regardless I think the demand for one will be too much for it to be ignored in ES6, furries have grown way way more visible since 2011
>>
>>749042832
yeah you can but it does help with vanilla having some really bad perks
I like adamant though it has this annoying thing where, if you have simon's Pilgrim mod installed (which is otherwise fine), it makes it so having a blessing on will boost either Conjuration or Restoration depending on deadra/aedra worship even if you don't use either school
>>749042997
beyond the names it had some cool stuff but also weird shit like I I think the restoration tree or one of the others had a perk that spawned special npc's into the world that you could talk to for a spell or something just fucking stupid. The smithing tree also allowed you to spawn a janky ass dwemer crossbow sentry or something
>>
>>749043005
Unironically the only way I would even consider ES6 worth acknowledging is if it has a likable Argonian or Khajiit lady companion in it that you can romance. I know the game is probably going to be just a shallow, buggy and bare bones as Skyrim was, but if it has a fun cast of companions instead of just boring safe shit (or worse, a bunch of non-character "followers" like in Skyrim) than I'll consider it an improvement over Skyrim.
>>
>>749043381
>I know the game is probably going to be just a shallow, buggy and bare bones as Skyrim was
Actually crazy optimistic take given the condition of the studio
>>
>>749043381
I just hope it has enough there for a good modding community to emerge. I haven't fucked with starfield but i heard it's wasn't great, probably mostly form its general reception but I think I saw stuff about the community being kinda shitty too beyond iirc coming together to make sure arthmoor didn't get a dictatorship over another unofficial patch lol
and desu even if the gameplay is skyrim like I can still find enjoyment in it just exploring the world and shit
>>
>>749030047
It's pretty hard not to write Reddit tier dialogue if you're not already a skilled writer. But it's sad to see that so many modding communities is just LGBT propaganda by the usual suspects.
But to be completely fair, they're not the ones causing that. Our governments have been. When countries begin to mandate that companies, and website hosters dictate what type of user behavior is good or bad, and in the case of all the recent surveillance/online safety nonsense, go as far as to arrest people for "speech crimes", or permanently ban and then file charges for discrimination against individual uploaders, then the problem isn't even the LGBT community. The LGBT community is being pushed into the privilege they have because our governemnts are forcing the internet to promote it through stealth lawfare, and that's been true for over a decade at this point, starting with Twitter back in 2011.
>>
>>749043618
With that Asha lady putting the fire under Bethesda I think that there still might be a chance that ES6 can at least be mediocre instead of outright dogshit.
>>
>>749044673
If you light a fire under a cauldron of turds it just gets stinkier
>>
>>749043968
Starfield was fucked by creation club being in from the start and then they added achievements are disabled with free mods.
There's actually a solid core of mods for Starfield but the scene will struggle to grow because of the above.
