Toady spent so long twiddling his thumbs that by the time the Steam version finally came out, the game fell out of the niche it made and had already been replaced by Rimworld and other colony builders.The fact that he's just now getting around to the magic update with no economy or boats or anything else interesting in sight just puts people off and makes them look toward other games in the genre that are now more developed with a better modding scene.

These troondevs changed the control scheme that the whole fanbase of the game has been using for more than 10 years, just to appraise casual mouse-using faggots, who don't even play the game anymore (see picrel).And worst of all, they even tainted the free version, and they didn't fucking put the option to keep the old control scheme.
