new animal crossing is so bland, if they remake or return to tradition they will still make all the dialogue boring and focus on implementing teramorphing and town design bullshit. town design was fun when it was a secondary aspect where people worked within the restrictions to make it look good

but the dialogue is the worst, villagers now may as well just be accessory dolls. they even made it easier to kick out and bring your favorite handbag villagers that basically have no personality anymore they're just there for twitter screenshots. its like a boardroom of executives make the new games, I want a cozy town with my friends

Where were you when you realized the only thing that actually made crafting a bad mechanic was just clunky implementation and tool durability?
