Finally got around to playing this after years and years of putting it off. This is one of the most basic, barebones, mentally insulting, most juvenile written TPS I think I've ever played. Are Xbots just mentally stunted? What's going on here? How the fuck did this become a franchise?

It was fun to play on the controller and the multiplayer was awesome. It was perfect for that era
fun bro-op campaign but nowadays co-op TPS horde shooters are everywhere so Gears isn't very notable in a contemporary context
