Thoughts on Darkwood?

cool game, people should play it
>>
the ultimate game that proves the rule that it's impossible for 2d games to be scary

Carried by its sound design
Dragged down by its gameplay

I got filtered by the first hour or two because I couldn't find a control setup that felt natural and kept stomping on mushrooms that I was supposed to be harvesting. Should really give it a go again for October

I hate being on timer, every time I want to immerse myself into atmosphere and explore I feel forced to clear locations as fast as possible until the sun sets. And it ruins it for me. Great game tho.

great atmosphere and scares but I hate games that make me lug around 6 million different resources
