The only time I thought Mina the Hollower was actually bullshit was Godred, or however his name is spelled. The secret skeleton boss in the courtyard. That fight is so sloppy. There's so many layers of overlapping RNG that can all individually fuck you, with so much spam, that you can go over a minute without being able to safely hit the boss. Yacht Club clearly threw a bunch of random bullshit at the way, playtested it for like 5 minutes, said "yeah they'll muscle through it somehow with trinkets lmao," and went out to lunch. It's as pure of a gearcheck as you can possibly design without the boss being totally invincible against all but one item. There's a reason most people kill this guy by showing up at the end of the game and assblasting him with the bomb sidearm and fly bait. Trying to fight him honestly, or early in the game right after Kindleberg, makes it immediately apparent how brainrotted of a fight it is.

The one complaint I never got about this game is the difficulty curve flatlining. Do people want the classic Zelda experience or not? In Zelda, when you start stacking heart pieces, you become basically immortal. Nothing can kill you. The Fromsoft nutsqueezing experience is not the point. You're supposed to enjoy the thrill of exploring the world and experimenting with all your new abilities. People really need to chill with the masochistic difficultyfag brainrot. Keep that up and all you're gonna do is eventually filter yourself and drop the hobby as devs make games with functionally infinite difficulty to cater to you. There's many such cases of that in the current gen.
